Stronger version of a Baltic Porter. Comparable with an Imperial Stout but without the heavily roasted malt character. This created a soft beer with strong hops in the finish.

W aromacie sporo suszonych owoców -rodzynki, figi, śliwki to główny nurt skontrowany czekoladą. Piany brak, wysycenie bliskie zeru. W smaku bardzo owocowe , z czekoladową kontrą, najbardziej zaskakujący jest lekko belgijski finisz. Bardzo ciekawy porter, może nie w stylu, ale szalenie przyjemny.

Bottle from Vinmonopolet’s BU. Pours dark brown. Thin layer of tan head, which quickly dissappears. Dark chocolate, roasted malt, coffee, vanilla, dark fruit and alcohol aroma. Roasted coffee, ripe apple, date, plum, chocolate and some canilla flavour. Velvet mouth feel. Dry ending. Thick and oily body. Soft carbonation. Sweet. Dome bitterness. Very good. A bit too much alcohol aroma and warmth make it a bitboozy though.

0.33l bottle. Black body with chunks of floating yeast, thin light-brown head. Aroma of chocolate, figs, caramel, vanilla and plums. Taste of chocolate, vanilla, caramel, plums and some floral hops. Medium bodied, suprisingly easy to drink. Wow, this is awesome.

Kleurplaatje (110) - Amsterdam, NETHERLANDS - NOV 10, 2015
Bottled 17 nov 2014. ABV 11%. Pours dark black with a minimal off-white, brownish head. Clear coffee appearance. Nose is predominantly coffee as well. Good roastyness, some dark chocolate, dark fruits, licorice, burned sugar as well. Good autumny aroma. Wonderful nose. Taste is moderately sweet with a nice lingering bitter undertone. Great roasty touch all along. Sugar, coffee (mocha), forest fruits, licorice and a nice hopbitter. Something porto-like as well. Great, rich and balanced taste. Wonderful use of the alcohol which bears all the flavors in an excellent way. Palate-wise a bit on the thinnish side, could have had more body and a bit more creamy texture. However an incredibly smooth Porter. Wonderfully drinkable and definitely worth another buy.

Bottle in the Grove, Huddersfield. Pours deep mahogany with a thin beige head. The aroma is rich coffee and dark chocolate. The taste is fantastic - liquorice, toffee, treacle, coffee and light spice. Sweet and sticky at first, then bitter in the finish. Mind blowingly good.

Absolutely fantastic beer, shared with Hrabren. 0.33 l bottle from Hoppiness, Koper. 10.1% abv, intensive pleasant aroma, tastes like dried plums, a little bit smoked and even a little salty, roasted barley, good (and even a litlle sweet) Imperial porter, I would definitely like to drink it again. Dried fruit finish. I like it!!!

0.33 l bottle from Hoppiness, Koper. 10.1% abv, Premiant and Sladek Czech hops. Dark brown, small tan head. Some sediment. Salted meat aroma, plums maybe, roasty, licorice, wooden plank. Has a bite, but goes away quickly. Medium body. Needs more body. Roasty finish with some licorice. Not impressed.

i stort sett svart öl med ett mindre brunt skum. Doft av mörk choklad, lakrits och lättare rostade toner. I smaken tillkommer lite russin. Lätt oljig munkänsla.
