| 4.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 10/10 | 5/5 | 19/20 | Nov 2, 2009 Bottled @ BBF. Cloudy brownish color, medium off-white head. Aroma of chocolat and coffee, but also fruity red wine. Perfect balance in taste between the roasted coffee from the tsarina esra and the vinous notes of the barrel aging. | 4.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 5/5 | 17/20 | Sep 8, 2009 Wow. Bottle from our Mes, yet again fine work mate. Black as Tevez’s heart, with elbow patch brown head. Aroma is head swimmingly awesome and heart achingly lovely. Like a dustbin lid sized chocolate cake. Rich but smooth flavour. Perfect mouthfeel. The oak aging gives a hint of vanilla, almost bordering on coconut. Almost liquor like. Has a wine like quality somewhere in the huge finish, not in the palate er somewhere else. Lovely. Will definitely have to re-rate in a larger quantity if I get the chance. And I’ll certainly be looking for it.
