Bottle from Fyne Wines, Argyll. Copper-Orange colour. Aromas of what I can only term mixed freshly spent hops and nutmeg. Initially this continues through palate with addition of pine kernel resin savouriness; however, time allows the overt hop-mix to settle and reveal distinctive, individual notes of tarragon and grapefruit - both burnished zest and almost tart pulp, giving bitterness and richness while allowing a clean finish.

Draft at Khyber Pass. Tulip. Somewhat hazy ambervpour with a thick white head. Citrus bready notes off the top. Deep thick hops exploding underneath. Blood orange peels. Big spicy finish. Feels like a very hoppy barleywine. Finishes a bit harsh.

Hazy orange beer with smallish head and nice lacing. Aroma has citrus, pines, anise and grapefruits. Taste is quite spicy, there is anise and pines. Leaves your tongue dry and there is medium bitterness. Body is medium and small-to-medium carbonation. Expected something more.

Bottle, gusher, hazy copper pour with a huge chunky beige head that has too much retention. Aroma is caramel, toast, turbinado sugar, tea, earthy, citrus, herbal, fruity and spicy hops. Flavor is caramel, brown sugar, toast, light pie spice, old hay, tart grain, green tea and sharp citrus, earthy, herbal and woody hops. medium body, lightly syrupy entry blown out by explosive carbonation that quickly calms down leaving a juicy, syrupy finish. Good stuff overall, but there is definitely something wrong here, doesn’t seem like infection. Early bottling/over priming? Pretty tasty other than the carbonation issues crashing the party.
