In bottle, horizontal tasting with de Struise Ignis et Flamma. Pours a blonde colour with a thick white head that dies down eventually. Lovely aroma of pineapple, passion fruit, bubblegum and a little barley coming through. Great bubblegum flavour again with a chewy mouth-feel and moderate carbonation. Caramel, passion fruit and pine flavours linger nicely. A little peppery also. Quite bitter and a little dry to finish. Delicious!

Troebel oranjegeel met stevige witte kraag. Geur is fruit (grapefruit en lychee) Smaak fris fruitige grapefruit en lychee, hop. Behoorlijk pittige bittere afdronk. Op mijn fles staat overigens 63EBU. Heerlijk bier.

Bottle shared at the 6th annual Richmond Industry Gathering, 11/27/11. Pours a hazy peach color with a large white head. Decent head retention and lacing. Aroma of caramel malts, big citrus hops, pineapple and syrupy notes. The taste is big citrus, peppery and tropical hops and sweet malts. Medium bodied. Much like an American IPA.

On tap. Pour amber, with a giant white head. Nice hoppy aroma, packed with grass, herbs and citrus. Nice and fruity. Thin-medium body, with a nice amount of carbonation. Perhaps a little bitter at the end, then again, it is an ipa.

Bottle from Systembolaget, at home. Early 2011
Big hoppy punch with loads of exotic fruits, mainly papaya and mango - in the background grapefruit. Super smooth taste and really balanced. Big fruity flavours of hops in the taste.

Bottle: Off white head on top of an orange amber colored beer. Smell hops, citrus, pine, grapefruit, flowers and some sweets. Taste fruits and hops, citrus, grape, nice bitter, herbs and even some sweets. Nice bitter fruity aftertaste. Low to medium carbo, medium to fuller body, soft tingly mouthfeel and a texture between watery and creamy.

33 cl bottle at VilleValla Pub. Hazy, hay/yellow liquid with medium to big white head. Aroma of citrus, grapefruit, tropical fruit, fresh hops, lemon grass and very light malt. Refreshing! Taste is dry, hoppy, fruity, lightly malty and medium to highly bitter. Medium bodied with medium carbonation. Smooth and balanced. Well made as most of De Molen’s beer.
