33 cl bottle at VilleValla Pub. Hazy, hay/yellow liquid with medium to big white head. Aroma of citrus, grapefruit, tropical fruit, fresh hops, lemon grass and very light malt. Refreshing! Taste is dry, hoppy, fruity, lightly malty and medium to highly bitter. Medium bodied with medium carbonation. Smooth and balanced. Well made as most of De Molen’s beer.

Draft @ DeMolen on November 17th visit.

Pours a cloudy medium amber. Aromas of hops/hops/sweet malts. Flavor grapefruit with a little sweetness and finishes with a nice bite.

750 ml bottle. Bottled 23.7.2010.
One big boom and this bursts out of the bottle. Pours a slightly hazy orange yellow colour with a large, foamy, lacy and slightly off-white head. Loads of visible bubbles. Aroma of sweet caramel, stinging floral hops and exotic fruits. Lovely. Strong flavour of bitter floral hops, caramel, pine needles with some earthy tones. High carbonation and a long, slightly warming, bitter finish. Lovely hopped IPA and still a year after being bottled the carbonation is too high. If I’d wait the hops would diminish. What a dilemma.

The aroma is lightly sweet and with light bitter piney coolingness. The bitter pours amber with a white head. The flavor is light and bitter, very dry with a grapefruit rind-like flavor, minus the juiciness. The body is light as well, just right on the carbonation. Not a fan of the bitter backend.

UPDATED: SEP 22, 2013 (11/11/2011) 25 cl. draft @ Delirium Taphouse – served in a small pint glass: Awesome a new De Molen beer and on tap as well, my first Molen on tap & an IPA at that \ This is the beer that they once made every brewery present at the Borefts festival brew \ Exited for another Molen IPA after the Amarillo \ Pours a hazy golden/range with a creamy white head that laces like insane, when I finished the whole side of my glass was covered by a thick wall of lacing, impressive to say the least \ Smell is amazing, lots of very fruity hops with lemon, grapefruit, apricot, peach, pine,… \ Taste is bitter hops – very American – with bitter pine resin mixed with a strong herbal/grass bitterness, some hay, with some rather distant muffled underneath, I am getting very clearly peach here, heavy aftertaste, a bitterness which just lingers on your palant, for a long time after you have taken a sip, going all herbal & grass on you \ Medium body & heavy carb \ Another great beer from De Molen and an amazing IPA //// had this straight from the fermentor @ the brewery, man so gooood...

Bottle. Light amber, hazy, large and mostly lasting head. Moderate, malty and sweetish aroma, some tropical fruitiness and light caramel, grapefruit and citrus hoppyness - bit sharp. Body is medium and lightly sweetish flavor, light tropical fruitiness, light caramel, some sharp grapefruit and piney hoppyness. Finish is average, malty and lightly sweetish, light caramel, some sharp - soapy grapefruit and piney hoppyness.Lightly sweetish IPA, in the flavor/finish hoppyness gets bit too sharp/soapy - finish lacks the fruitiness.
