Pours a slightly hazy orange color with large white head, som lacing. Aroma of grapefruit, citrus, orange and some slight caramel. Flavour is fruity and hoppy with citrus, grapefruit, mandarines and orange whith a light caramely malt base. Balanced bitterness in the finish. Mediumbodied with lively carbonation. A very refreshing and tasty IPA!

UPDATED: APR 13, 2012 Bottle after 6 pints on tap at the Sugarbowl. Lightly hazy amber with a giant off white bubbly cap. Pine, melon, peach, grapefruit, spicy lemon something, light caramel, orange aroma. Taste is pretty good and no let down and quite pleasant and complex. Lots of citrus and pine and orange with nothing being bigger than the other. A good bit of spice, candy and other things. Nice carb and decent bitter bite. These are tough times - this beer is a good way to close the book and move on before the final clean up. Good thing for the re-rate feature just in case I need to clean this up...

Bottle from Vika enjoyed at home
As a fan of HB Fyr og Flamme i’ve been really looking forward for this one. It pours copper hazy wiht a beige head. Smells of citrus, candy, mango, zests, florals and some malts. Nice medium sweetness, intense bitterness in the finish. Finish also have resins and citrus zests. Medium bodied, average carbonation, quite thick feel. Totally a very nice ipa that i would love to try again.

Bottle 33 cl from erzbierschof.ch. At first, there is a huge foam that the glass has hardly contain, the beer is golden with a lively crackling. The nose reveals already the bitterness, flavored with hops on a fruity malt. The taste is similar, all coated with bitter of herbs, citrus and pine. Notes of malt caramel, tropical fruits, pineapple, white pepper. Very fragant and dry.

Keg, Euston Tap, 04/04/12. Thin-slicked, weizen looks. Peach flan aroma tipping into sickliness, some urinal. Lockets and tinned peach held in check by spiky, botanical citrus. Liptons Peach iced tea notes. Nice.

Aroma has a malty core, a strong yeasty overtone, and hints of grass and fruit. It pours a slightly orangy amber with a decent, fluffy white head. Flavor is definitely that of an IPA - hoppy with citrus and yeasty undertones and some bitterness. Smooth texture is firm-bodied and quite fizzy, leaving a decidedly hoppy and citrus finish. Overall, a decent IPA, if not an outstanding one, and worth taking home.

Among my favorite beers, this is a refreshing and unusual take on IPAs. Beautifully balanced bouquet of flowers.

Drank on tap (10 oz only) at Cheval Blanc’s Big Tuesday 1, April 2, 2012. Blonde hazy, thin head. Slightly sweet aroma of hops, with hints of corn? Hoppy taste a little sweet, but it is very dry, somewhat bitter and not very tasty. Someone told me not to order this beer, too late!
