Draft at Rattle n Hum with Linh. Pours a hazy, creamy golden orange body with great white lacing. Aroma is floral, spicy and fruity. Mouthfeel is medium with nice notes of spice, wheat, light citrus and some bitter notes.

Damn good beer. Tastes of Kiwifruit, and and other fruits that I cannot quite identify. The aroma is a lovely pine / citrus, and it has a nice rich mouthfeel. A little bitterness in the back comes along, just to say hi.

Aroma is apricot and citrus. Taste reminds me a bit of bread and the hops of my choice such as cascade and simcoe are present. The negative side is that the amarillo hop makes its presence known.

9/10/7/9/11/11

13-MAY-2011, bottle @Morten. Ugly things floating around. Actually huge chunks - you can almost hear them... ... Amber, huge, huge white head - typical de Molen:-) Grape fruit and piney nose. Very bitter taste. Fantastic IPA but what about the carbonation? IPA’s should not foam like this...

Tap. Clearer, light burnt orange with barely white head. Grapefruit and passion fruit in the aroma, and pretty bitter with a touch of flowers as well. A little floral and grapefruit hops stick out with a small degree of sweetness in teh flavor, and nears on astringent but stops just short of soapy. Medium body with tiny carbonation bubbles.

Bottle #416: Pours a clear deep golden bronze with a spotty-lacing froth of white head. Has a lightly sweet toasted malty nose with a fresh resiny grapefruit hoppiness and a hint of oxidation. Starts with pretty good fullness and light malty sweetness with a healthy amount of citrusy bittering and flavor hops before a slightly drier bittersweet finish. A clean and tasty IPA, but unfortunately the price will prevent it from becoming anything I drink with any regularity.
