11.2 oz. bottle, split with Matts_Property, pours a murky rusty orange with a big white head. Very spicy and peppery nose, with grassy and herbal hops subdued. Extremely bitter flavour of spicy and peppery hops, with hardly any malt to balance. Spicy, peppery, bitter finish that lingers on and on. Very unbalanced and too peppery for my liking.

Bottle at BrewDog. Hazy orange amber, big white head. Creamy fruit nose - orange, citrus, some sugar. Palate is big IPA - massive citrus, orange peel, light caramel, with a big bitter hop finish.

12/21/2010 bottling. # 1144. The beer pours to an amber body with a non-lasting tall soap foam white head. There’s lots of grassy and herbal hops in the aroma. The flavor is lightly peppery grassy hops, alfalfa hay, and bitter hop resin. There’s a dash of pale malt, but this is mostly hop water. The palate is bitter and light bodied. Resin hop oil remains after many seconds.

Dutch IPA? What devilment is this? Gorgeous amber and a head that fills the glass with off-white fluffy foam. Quite a dominant grassy hop aroma. If you were blindfolded you’d be adamant that this beer came from the Pacific NorthWest of the US and usesa ll of those classic hops from that wonderful place. Full and resinous with a lovely undernote of golden malt. Bold, but not overwhelming, this is flavourful mainly from the perspective of malt. It is lush and fruity with sultanas, spice and fruit leather. A tasty beer with gentle hop bitterness. Quite gorgeous and not in the least bit brash.

Draft. Pours orange with a white head. Hoppy aroma, with herbal notes, some sweetness, and a little bit of cat piss. The flavor has hops, pale malts, herbal notes, and flowery notes. Decent.

75cl bottle, bottled July 23rd 2010, drank July 8th 2011. Maybe the year was very long because I’m really not sure the beer I’m now drinking is like intended. Ugly muddy look; "un verre de bouette", like one once said. Overall, it seems decent, although overpriced (I paid something like 13$ this bottle), but a strongly displeasing weird-acrid-spicy taste takes a lot of place, especially in bigger sips; someone talked of tea and that might be it but 200 times harsher than a regular tea. And that taste strikes back in my burpings; beurrkk. Some notes pleasantly remind of pineapple, with an overall very dry herbal hopping. But this might be the costiest beer I ever drain poured yet, damn it. That’s it: bye bye!

Tap at RnH - caramel malts, grassy hops, very herbal. dry finish. Tasty, but I was underwhelmed

11.2 ounce bottle purchased at the Davis Beer Shoppe. Batch 1220. The aroma on this is very herbal and earthy. Some boiled vegetal notes, but primarily just a really weird herbal nose. Primarily chinook. Not a fan. Very murky, muddy, opaque orange-ish body with a large, fluffy cream-colored head. Ugly stuff, especially for an IPA. Why the fuck would you bottle condition a 6.2% IPA and then state that this beer would be good for 5 years on the label? How fucking retarded is that? Starts highly carbonated before a tea-like herbal flavor comes through in the middle. Grassy and swampy, before this becomes a bit boozy, and super harsh to finish. Very herbal, earthy bitterness that is very dry late. This is ok but not worth the price, and not overly enjoyable. Nit a fan of the hop profile. Loses points for the bullshit on the label about this beer being good for 5 years, too.

Thanks to James and Susan for sharing this. It pours dirty brown with gold edges and white head. The aroma is earthy hops, spicy hops, some citrus hops and sort of green grassy hops too. The taste is fresh and grassy sort herbal with spicy hops, earthy hops and grassiness heading to midway. It then picks up some modest acidic like lemon citrus notes into the finish. Nice IPA.
