4.2 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
UPDATED: SEP 22, 2013 (11/11/2011) 25 cl. draft @ Delirium Taphouse – served in a small pint glass: Awesome a new De Molen beer and on tap as well, my first Molen on tap & an IPA at that \ This is the beer that they once made every brewery present at the Borefts festival brew \ Exited for another Molen IPA after the Amarillo \ Pours a hazy golden/range with a creamy white head that laces like insane, when I finished the whole side of my glass was covered by a thick wall of lacing, impressive to say the least \ Smell is amazing, lots of very fruity hops with lemon, grapefruit, apricot, peach, pine,… \ Taste is bitter hops – very American – with bitter pine resin mixed with a strong herbal/grass bitterness, some hay, with some rather distant muffled underneath, I am getting very clearly peach here, heavy aftertaste, a bitterness which just lingers on your palant, for a long time after you have taken a sip, going all herbal & grass on you \ Medium body & heavy carb \ Another great beer from De Molen and an amazing IPA //// had this straight from the fermentor @ the brewery, man so gooood...

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle. Light amber, hazy, large and mostly lasting head. Moderate, malty and sweetish aroma, some tropical fruitiness and light caramel, grapefruit and citrus hoppyness - bit sharp. Body is medium and lightly sweetish flavor, light tropical fruitiness, light caramel, some sharp grapefruit and piney hoppyness. Finish is average, malty and lightly sweetish, light caramel, some sharp - soapy grapefruit and piney hoppyness.Lightly sweetish IPA, in the flavor/finish hoppyness gets bit too sharp/soapy - finish lacks the fruitiness.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Felhősen narancssárga színű főzet, közepes méretű, szivacsos fehér habbal a tetején, amely csipkét hagy a pohár szélén ill. vékony fátyolként megmarad.
Friss illata citrus-gyümölcsös és gyantás.
Mandarint, barackot idéző gyümölcsös aromája virágmézes, citrusos és gyantás jellegeket hordoz magában, textúrája enyhén szirupos.
Befejezése hosszan tartó és kissé melengető, amelyet citrusok és a gyantás, fűszeres komló kísér, markáns narancshéjra emlékeztető utóízt hagyván maga után.
Könnyedén guruló, frissítő IPA.

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
very carbonated,big head....
Nice IPA color.
A bit weird at nose but you can sense the hops.
Bitter and hoppy.
A very nice Belgian IPA, which comes closer to the american style.
It is based on a belgian way of brewing, but the hops overcome the malts.

2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
A chaotic huge dirt white and very porous unstable head quickly rises in the glass over a muddy brownish orange liquid. Is it always like this with this brewery?
Aroma has lot of resin and bitter citrus with some caramel and play-doh. This is raw, harsh resiny hop juice. Earthy and also maybe a bit vegetal.
Taste has sweetness from caramel and theres grapefruit, apricot and mango seed there but whatever balance is totally overthrown by a very high and dry bitterness. I feel a burn in the back of my throat from the alcohol.
Medium bodied with soft tickeling carbonation.
Is just the beer or the whole brewery infected? They always shoot out of the bottle and taste unbalanced and home brewed. Am I missing something?

3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle. A somewhat insipid yellow appearance which was unfortunate as things definitely got better. Small head and a pleasant citrus flavour with some hoppiness. Citrus mouth feel that lingers,Interesting beer shame about the appearance.
