Bottle, gusher, hazy copper pour with a huge chunky beige head that has too much retention. Aroma is caramel, toast, turbinado sugar, tea, earthy, citrus, herbal, fruity and spicy hops. Flavor is caramel, brown sugar, toast, light pie spice, old hay, tart grain, green tea and sharp citrus, earthy, herbal and woody hops. medium body, lightly syrupy entry blown out by explosive carbonation that quickly calms down leaving a juicy, syrupy finish. Good stuff overall, but there is definitely something wrong here, doesn’t seem like infection. Early bottling/over priming? Pretty tasty other than the carbonation issues crashing the party.

Tap at the brewcafé, deep amber with a fine white head. Dry and caramel-bitter with sweeter fruity overtones. Delicious.

Copper colour, beautiful foamy head. Smell is lots of resin, honey and caramel. Hint of peels and orange, limes and grapefruit. Taste is full and chewy almost. Bitter but not overwhelmingling so, with a smooth honey sweetness. Watery pleasant finish.

Rating #1734 - 2015.06.08 - Bottle from CBI - Pours a hazy copper with a fairly frothy head. sticky lacing. Aroma is grapefruit, orange, and mild sappy, piney note.Taste is mild sweetness (citrusy, piney, floral) and a lingering bitterness - cookie dough, caramel malt character really brought out, and the tangy pineyness of the hops.

Mooi amberkleurig bier. Deze fles gedeeld met Coeno. Helaas niet helemaal onze smaak als IPA.

One of De Molen’s more classic beers, an American style IPA with lightly lacing, moussy, snow white head and hazy orange blonde robe. Aroma of mango, biscuit, orange peel, grapefruit flesh, bitter honey, wry grape peel, lychee. Crisp onset, dried mango and redcurrant hints, minerally accent, citrus freshness early on and evolving into a lush, aromatic hop character, citrusy and ’tropically’ floral, softly but persistently and in the end slightly tonic water-like bittering over a rounded, biscuity malt sweetness. Rich, very dry and very long in development, this is an exemplary IPA.

Nice ipa but the head is pretty much gone in seconds and the carbonation is too weak in my humble opinion. Nice bitter aftertaste though

Bottle from a local Albert Heijn supermarket. The beer is hazy orange colored and has a large broken white colored head, with good carbonation. The aroma is fruity and hoppy, with tones of citrus, grapefruits, grass and tropical fruits. The taste is malty and fruity with a light sweetness with tones from the aroma and some appricots. The finish is dry and medium bitter and above all very refreshing. Liked this IPA, not as bitter as usual.

Bottle, 33cL. Home. Bottled 9/2014. Best before 9/2016. A sparkling golden orange beer with a big off-white foamy head ; good retention ; good lacing. Fruits (citrus, red berries, tropical fruits), resin, herb, light pepper. Light sweet, medium to heavy dry bitter ; fresh pleasant windy. Medium body, light silky texture, average good carbonation, dry resinous peppery finish. Overall, a great IPA ; nice fruity spicy resinous character.
