Bottle, gusher, hazy copper pour with a huge chunky beige head that has too much retention. Aroma is caramel, toast, turbinado sugar, tea, earthy, citrus, herbal, fruity and spicy hops. Flavor is caramel, brown sugar, toast, light pie spice, old hay, tart grain, green tea and sharp citrus, earthy, herbal and woody hops. medium body, lightly syrupy entry blown out by explosive carbonation that quickly calms down leaving a juicy, syrupy finish. Good stuff overall, but there is definitely something wrong here, doesn’t seem like infection. Early bottling/over priming? Pretty tasty other than the carbonation issues crashing the party.

Bottle. Pours a cloudy dark brown amber with a slighly off white thin head. Aroma of sweet peach. Some abricot. Ripe citrus and orange. Slight caramel. Taste is orange peel, grassy hops, sweet peaches. Very smooth body.

Vestergaard (269) - Aarhus C, DENMARK - JUL 28, 2014
Bottle from 03.06.14. (June). Pour is Fairly dark, unclear brown/amber. Aroma has lots of ripe citrus, hops, grass, and is Fairly sweet. Apricot as well. Taste is pretty bitter. Still fruity, but lots of grassy bitter notes. Not as fresh as expected, but still a nice beer for the money! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle with Kate and Adriaan. Hazy golden-orange with an enormous persisting off-white head. The aroma is peachy, citrus fruits, a little caramel. Flavour is much the same, very dry, superb.

Bottle in the Hemelvaart Beer Cafe, Bedale. A very lively amber beer with a big foamy cream head. A good hoppy IPA with fairly spicy pine notes. Quite light and refreshing. Highish carbonation, but a smooth finish. Some tropical fruit notes too. Very nice.

Bottle at home (2012 bottle). Pours hazy amber with a white frothy head. Aroma is herbal hops, grass, pine, resin, malts. Taste is herbal hoppy, sweet, grass, with a bitter, oily aftertaste. Probably better when fresh.

Aroma and taste is very fruity, a lot of citruses. The bitterness could be much more straight and distinct but it’s still very enjoyable. Has a grate head to.
