31/03/2011 Brasserie 4:20 (tap). Ambrata viva, abbastanza limpida, con buona schiuma pannosa bianca sporca, molto persistente. Al naso fruttata, luppolata, ma più delicata della Vuur & Vlam originale. Sentori di pesca, mandarino e litchi. In bocca è più simile alla normale V&V: amara, fruttata, lievemente mielosa. Corpo medio, abbastanza carbonata. Rispetto alla versione originale migliora solo l’aroma, grazie al sorachi. Deludente.

On tap at The Grove, Huddersfield, West Yorkshire 23.04.11 Pours gold to light amber with a white head and good clarity. Lovely bittersweet flavours, nice hoppy bite I do rather like the Sorachi Ace. Bitterness sticks about, cracking beer. A7 A4 T8 P4 Ov15 3.8

Bottle. Murky grey/orange beer with a big white head. Pineapple aroma, apricot, grapes, grass and citrus. Fruity hoppy flavor, grapes, pine apple, grass, perfume, citrus, grape fruit notes. Long balance bitter cirtus and grass finish.

Loads of tropical fruits in the aroma; pineapple, apricots.
Light and fresh.
Perfume-ish hops and citric fruitiness; grapes.

A non transparent brew with a beautiful amber colour. Aroma has very much the amarillo hop charcter with clear notes of apple. Lovely aroma it is..Taste follows aroma mostly and the aftertaste is very bitter.

Bottle. Amber color. Very fruity aroma: tangerine, mint, mandarine curacao, melon and pear. Oily hopsbitter flavor with loads of tropical and citrus fruit, mint and herbal grass. Nice!!
