Pours a crystal clear mahogany. Great looking beer. Nose is awesome with vanilla, dark fruit, light spice. Flavor is just crazy awesome. Sweet malt with tons of caramel, vanilla, rich fruit, and light spice. Complex, brilliant. One of the best I have had from De Molen. Big thanks to Bloomster for hooking me up with this.

Bottle. Pours a clear dark reddish amber color with a small off-whit ehead. Has a fruity malty spicy dark fruit and caramel aroma. Fruity malty sweetish vanilla and dark fruit flavor. Has a fruity malty spicy caramel, toffee and vanilla finish.

Bottle.Pours cloudy amber with a small off-white head.Aroma of cheese, malt, caramel, prunes and bread.Flavor is sweet,warming and malty with red berries, some bread, vanilla, oak and dried fruits.Full body, soft carbonation.Really nice

Bottle, 18cl. Unclear, dark golden to copper body with a minimal sized off-white to beige head. Vanilla, sugary sweetness, alcohol, bourbon of course, caramel hints and some dried fruits on the nose. Too sweet on the palate, almost sugary, with bourbon, dried fruits like apricots, coconut hints and some more sugar. Full body, almost flat, and not as warming as the ABV suggests. Nice, not wonderful. 110917

Pours clear dark amber with a off-white head. Aroma has notes malt, caramel, coconut, vanilla and alcohol. Taste is heavy sweet and light bitter. Body is full, texture is oily, carbonation is flat.

Bottle @ home. Pours copper with a small eggwhite head. Aroma is bourbon, raisins, ripefruit, oak, light booze. Flavor is sweet ripe fruit, bourbon, alcohol, dark fruit, woody notes. Medium carbonation. Great beer.

Bottle in Rome during The Stag Do. Super sweet and boozy. Full bodied with average carbonation and lots of heat. Warm finish, notes of aged malts, toffee, caramel. Lingering booze, heat, sugar and caramel. Very nice, even if these notes don’t fully reflect it.

UPDATED: SEP 10, 2011 Bottled. Pours clear, orange, amber with a tiny off-white head. Nose of caramel, dried fruits, bourbon and notes of vanilla. Very sweet flavor of caramel, bourbon, dried fruits and alcohol notes. Full bodied, syrupy texture and flat carbonation Warming alcoholic finish. It’s a sipper for sure with an awesome flavor and body. Tasty!

Red colored brew. Sweet aroma, dark fruits, alcohol, oak. Flavor has a lot of sweetness, warming alcohol and oak. Very nice one to sip in the colder days.

Bottled. A deep red beer with a lazing tan head. The aroma has notes of matl, caramel, and alcohol. The flavor is very sweet with notes of matl, caramel, alcohol, and wood. Thanks yespr for sharing.
