Bottle (Heksen & Trollen label). Cloudy pale yellow, lively white head. Lime rind, cat pee, white grapefruit, and pepper, with crackery pale malts and an assertive bitter finish. More a white IPA than anything, but really tasty regardless.

As heksen & trollen, a fresh and zesty saison, clean tasting. I let the sediment stay in the bottle, on advice of barman, but wonder if this took a bit of the flavour away too.

Bottled, 330ml as Heksen & Trollen, from Beer Hawk of Harrogate, Yorks.N, many thanks to Derek & Kelsey. Hazy gold with white head. There is a hoppy, resinous aroma on opening, promising much ,ut on drinking there is an aggressive, sharp bitterness that tends to dominate the proceedings. Yes resinous and grassy with hints of floral hops but all a little too sharp for me. Decent if not one I would return to.
