On Tap at Boreft Beer Festival, De Molen, Bodegraven, Netherlands, 24.09.11 Pours black with a beige rim of bubbles. Aroma suggests a sour cherry onslaught but it is not as sour as you might expect. Easily one of my favourite beers of the day along with the Thornbridge Courage RIS. Tangy with lovely zappy cherries, wonderful flavours, mmhhh.... lovely. A7 A5 T9 P5 Ov16 4.2

Tap @ Borefts Beer Festival. Pitch black with no head. Aroma has lots of cherries, cherry jam, syrup, brett, lots of dark fruit, leather, very nice and fruity, marzipan, and the brett gives it some cheesy niceness. Taste has sourness up front, brett, a lot of acetic notes, cherries, almond nuttiness, nice sourness, fresh figs, even dark grapes and leather. I like this quite a lot.

On tap @ Borefts 2011. Black with a minimal pale head. Aroma is cherries, marzipan and licorice. Taste is licorice, sour cherries, chocolate. The cherries add a nice tartness to the beer, which seems well balanced. Goo body, long sweet and sour finish.
