Really liking these De Molen German styles. Very rustic bucks and doppelbocks. This is clear ruby brown off white head. Nose is complex. Musky sweet grain, cereal, caramel, mineral, wet grass, bread yeast, bit of prune. Taste is bitter, caramel, wet grass, prune. Delightful. Finish is pruney bitter.
3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 larsga (4662) - Oslo, NORWAY - MAY 19, 2012
Gusher. Big beige head. Hazy amber body with visible particles
and fast carbonation. Deep earthy wild berry juice aroma with
caramel notes. Dry-sweet wild berry candy and earth taste with
resiny funky notes. Fullish body. Fizzy, sharpish mouthfeel.
Dry roasty wild berry aftertaste with funky caramelly candy and
wooden dusty resin notes. Incredibly vivid and clear taste.
Really nice. Like a candy version of Haandbryggeriet
Hesjeøl. (0.33l bottle, wine monopoly, Vika, Oslo.)

Deep red, ugly thin big bubbled beige head. Smells of malts and ripe fruits. Taste is malty, good sweetness, quite drinkable without any flaws. Some plum flavor too. Surprisingly the body is medium, quite oily feel too. Some bitter finish, but not anything near extreme
