draught@Erzbierschof; courtesy of Anna - cloudy dark-orange beer with a little persistent foam left; correct lacework; decently hoppy with notes of resin and apricot; medium-bodied and with a light acidity/sourness; the palate is quite velvety, pretty bitter and with a lingering sourness and more fruity hoppy tones

Doesn’t have much length. A bit like me. Doesn’t work it brilliantly, a bit like me. All mouth no action? Well, once the aim has been achieved who cares? Not sure the aim was achieved here, doesn’t last but is pleasant enough.

Bottle shared by Cuso, many thanks. Aroma is strong hoppy, nice. Standard floral and grapefruit fresh american hops profile. Lightly yeasty. Hazy amber colour. Taste mostly bitter, floral and grapefruit hops, lightly sourish. Bitterness is really high. Finish is hops all the way, bitter dry. Standard well made IPA.

Bottled. Aroma sour, citrus fruits, bitter. Taste is hoppy, bitter, but the finish is sour. I like that. Hops and sourness is extremely present. Color is light brown. Carbonation is low. Very tasty and refreshing. Alcohol hidden.

ekstedt (4544) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - APR 11, 2013
Draught at the Ölrepubliken tap takeover. Clear amber with metioum off-white head. Perfumy and citric hop aroma, slightly sourish. Light to medium bodied, medium to high carbonation. Dry with slightly harsh bitterness and some acidity. Possibly with the early sign of an infection, pretty bad anyway.

I’ve never been to a hop. Unlikely to I guess. I don’t even know what one is, winter or otherwise. So I can only use this beer as in indicator as to what to expect. Quite a bitter experience, a little refreshing and yes, a bit of hop.
