3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Very nice IPA, that De Molen Head Explosion which lilts out the citrus, the sladek are a very refreshing bitter to the taste, if you ask me. After coffee beer V8 and coconut juice I drink a lot of Earl Grey, and wouldnít have known this contained Bergamot without being told on the label, I guess it blends in with the hops.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 18/20
330ml brown bottle from Craft Beer Advent Calendar. Golden pour, hazy. Medium sized white cap with creamy edges. Nose has sweetish floral notes, big pithy orange peel and other milder citrus notes. Taste has fairly clean malt profile with minor sweetness, light dash of straw/grain, orange peel and grapefruity middle. Dry end. Citrus bitterness lingers, very zesty with a trace of spice. Mouthfeel is medium, pretty crisp carbonation. Overall a classic bitter IPA with some nice depth from the added Bergamot, an interesting ingredient. One 330ml bottle is not enough.

4.5 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
Pours a hazy orangish copper with a frothy off white head that leaves tons of lacing. The aroma of this beer is amazing. Huge sweet citrus notes like tangerine and mandarin, lots of citrus as well. Taste is an incredible bance of malts and hops with some tangerine/mandarin orange sweetness up front t and then a nice soft bitterness throughout. So many different flavors on the finish too that make this so complex.

Pours a deep gold with white head. Aroma is grapefruit, tangerine - juicy and kind of sweet. Flavour is citrus, mango, pineapple, marmalade. Finish is hoppy and tart. Different, but good.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bottle, Dec 22nd Beer Advent Calendar. Hazy orange, thick orange-tinted head. Aroma is sweet citrus, quite juicy, fresh, and lively. Highly carbonated palate, with lovely bright citrus hop flavours at centre stage, ending with moderate bitterness. Just a pleasure to drink! BTW, for presario: Bergamot is the chief aromatic flavour found in Earl Grey tea, and it comes from the dried fruits of the bergamot tree, which is in the citrus family (they are small fruits, though not as small as kumquats, and even though they are considered oranges they are actually yellow, and have their own unique aromatic profile).

3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Dec 22 CBAC. My 28th anniversary too. Have to say I am happy with my CBAC and am looking forward to getting one in 2013. Thanks to my daughter for this long lasting early Christmas gift. Nice head on hazy dark amber with just a bit of cloud in the middle. Light hop scent. Big mouthful of hops with a small amount of yeast and fruit if I look for it. Have to google bergamot. Quaffable tasty hops.

4.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
(33cl bottle) 2012 Advent Calendar. Pours a huge frothy white head atop an orange body. Very PNW orange hoppy nose. If this was warmer and on cask I'd think I was drinking a Big Time Hopfest in Seattle. Very nice balance of overly hoppy and sweet malts. This beer is truly great.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
330ml bottle pours a golden orange color with a huge white head that leaves some amazing lacing on the glass. Aroma is fruity with some hops and caramel, much better than I can describe here. Taste is light fruity and malty sweetness with a bold citrus and earthy hop bitterness. Medium bodied with nice carbonation leaving a pleasant sensation on the palate. Overall, this is a great IPA that every beer lover who can get this must try.

4.1 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Hazy light orange with light tan head and super sticky lacing.
Amazing aroma. An easy 10. The fruit is mind boggling. Iíve been smelling this for 15 mins. So sweet, not really tropical, you know.... Iíve decided not to bother describing this aroma as I canít seem to do it. A ten, yes. A 10 without details - yup. Know this - this is fucking amazing and unique and succulent. Fragrant like none other. Awesome. Tasty tasty stuff. Stiff bitterness, sweet sweetness, lemon, tropical, semi-pepper finish, herb, mild caramel, slight alcohol fumes, burlap sack. Iíve enjoyed this mysterious ride.
