Bottle at Bishop’s Arms, Malmö, Gustav Adolf Torg
Muddy amber brownish color. Very nice hoppy aroma, fresh and fruity, very citrusy, and delicate resins and with some Belgian yeast. There is some malt and caramel flavor, quite dry, but overwhelmed by the powerful bitterness; there is too much deposit in the bottle, and the yeast character is indeed strong, hiding all of the cleanliness that would be expected in a hoppy beer. The final is yeasty too and a bit harsh, not only bitter. Quite complex, good.
