Bottle from ABC Beers, Den Haag. Poured a clear chesnut brown with a long-lasting frothy white head. The aroma is pure hops and a hint of spice. The flavour is medium bitter, hoppy and with a little bitter, liqourice kick into the palate and the aftertaste. There’s no dry spiciness in this beer which seems to be a common trend these days. It’s one of the smoothest IPA’s i’ve had in a while.

Tasted from the bottle, on 26/01/2013. Pours of lovely pure amber color, with a big rocky and steady head. Aroma is sweet and citrusy upfront, then slightly herbal. Taste follows the same direction, but even more intense - citrus, floral and apricot tones dominate. Mouthfeel is high carb, full bodied. Aftertaste is malty&fruity sweet, hoppy bitter, with a distinct alcohol warming lingering in the end. Recommended. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle @ the Brauhaus. Pours a light amber colour with considerable haze and a very generous head. The nose has stone fruit, flowers with a hint of the expected citrus. The taste has much more of a citrus edge to it, with grapefruit and lemon predominating, though there’s still something floral in there. The palate is medium bodied with a creamy yet tangy texture and a long dry finish. Overall, a well made beer and not too dry.

Bottle from Malting Pot. Hazy amber body with puffy head. Nose is hoppy, citrus. and very inviting. Taste is also plenty of hops, citrus, some bitter and cheesy notes. Quite enjoyable, as always. Warming in the finish with bitter aplenty.

Pours a slightly hazy amber-gold color with a medium white head that diminishes steadily. Partial rings of lacing. The aroma is hoppy with citrus and malt notes. Medium body with flavors of grassy hops, fruit and malt. The finish is mildly bitter with a fruity hops aftertaste. Decent overall.

Bottle. Pours a cloudy orange with small white head leaving spotty lacing. The aroma is floral hops and yeast. Thin mouthfeel with a nice fruit flavor and light spice. Alcohol hidden well with a nice light bitterness in the finish. A good IPA from De Molen.
