Bottle. Pours a cloudy orange with small white head leaving spotty lacing. The aroma is floral hops and yeast. Thin mouthfeel with a nice fruit flavor and light spice. Alcohol hidden well with a nice light bitterness in the finish. A good IPA from De Molen.

(Bottle, Monk’s Café Wallingatan, Stockholm, 30 Oct 2012) Pale amber colour with frothy, beige head. Fruity nose with apricots, citrus and a touch of Earl Grey tea. Fruity taste with notes of orange, apricots, tea and a fresh taste of floral/citric hops in the finish. Medium body, with balanced sweetness. Refreshing and tasty. Nice one.

750ml bottle from the Rare Beer Club. Big gusher pour, huge bottle-conditioned rush on a deep golden body with massive sticky carbonation. Nose is pretty massive, with loads of fruity hops and a huge dry finish. It’s the latter that really makes the beer a winner, such a deliciously dry contrast to the pert fruitiness elsewhere. Shame that it’s so dear, as it’d be a real treat to lay this one in for sessions. But still a really terrific brew.
