This isn’t the most balanced of sours. An amazing amount of tartness and sweetness with a very sour aftertaste. I like it a lot though. Tried at BBF 2013.

Pinkish red color, no head. Minerally aroma. Very sour cherry to start, moving to taste of speculaas and then to Port Wine cheese spread. Every drink put a smile on my face.

Gedronken met Borefts’13. Paars/bruine kleur met een witte/roze schuimkraag. Ruikt naar kersen, fris, zuur. Smaakt ook zo. Ik vond hem erg lekker.

Huge cherry flavour. Not the sweet, sticky juice (or even artificial) kind, but the dark, rustic, intensive. Proper sourness, plucky yet approachable with its dark sweetness. Red berries and earthy. Spot on aroma for me. Sourness in taste is well, bit like a yoghurt culture but not thick. Powerful and sharp yet it will appeal to most I am sure, because its pure and simple great tasting. (On tap at Borefts 2013)

Sampled draft @ Borefts 2013. Tried this a couple of times. Reddish brown with almost no head. Nose is acidic cherry candy, sticky, slight vinegar, hint acetone, tart. Taste is once again, not so much kriek as sour cherry candy, slight sugary base, vinegar, spices, slight touch of acetone in the back. Little carb. Nice, expected some more “kriek” flavour & a bit more complexity. Still nice stuff, people with less of an obsession for sours appeared to enjoy this one more.

Countbeer (4676) - Best of E-Town mit ein Brauhaus, NETHERLANDS - SEP 30, 2013
Draught@Borefts’13: Deep dark red with thin off white lacing. Aromas of cherries, some sulphur, red fruit, light sour, light malty and light vanilla. Flavours of cherries, sour, acidic sour, hay, rope, dry. Very nice. Aftertaste is sour, cherry, malts, acidic and light creamy. Low carbo, soft creamy light tingly dry mouthfeel, good medium bodied and and a watery texture.

Tap @ Borefts ’13. Hazy red colour with a pink head. Smells sour, fresh, cherry and yoghurt. Tastes yoghurt, sour and cherry. Nothing crazy, but a nice sour fruit beer. Has a dry feel to it, medium body and lovely carbo.
