3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle. Pours yellow orange with white head. Nose and taste of yeast, white sugar, coriander, lemongrass, hay, banana and bready malt. Medium body. More of a wheat than a saison in my opinion.

2.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
330ml bottle (Drink Shop, Tallinn)
Messy yeasty aroma, even though I poured it almost entirely clear. Head was brief. It becomes obvious why in the taste - as it’s positively humming with saison grunge. And upon swallowing there’s an alcoholic and acidic kick. A bit fizzy palate. Rough. Eww. I’m sick of messy saisons. Each one makes me more annoyed than the previous.

2.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 6/20
Plain and boring. Especially if you’re familiar with "De Molen" beers this flavor profile really starts to annoy because they have 50+ beers or so, and maybe 5 can be called great and original, most of them don’t add anything to their selection, like this one.

3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle from De Molen, at home.
The color is hazy dark blonde.
The frothhead is tall but collapses fairly quickly, and doesn’t last very long afterwards. The taste is that of fresh spices and a touch of fruitiness, with a bitter, and alcoholic aftertaste, especially towards the end of the drinking experience. The bitter and dry aftertaste lasts fairly long. This beer is not top notch, but definitely a good choice for a fine, latesummer evening.

Tap @ De Molen, gele kleur en niet helder, witte schuimkraag, ruikt naar mout, citrus, sinaasappel, beetje kruidig, niet veel koolzuur.
