Poured milky orange with a frothy head. Aroma of zesty citrus and light malt. Medium bosy, flavour of spicey orange, quite muted for the style. Bitter finish.

Cerveza dorada turbia. Con el olor característico de una saison. Sabor cítrico, ácido y amargo. Un cuerpo redondo y equilibrado de la gran calidad que le caracteriza a De Molen.

(bottle, 33cl) Cloudy, pale golden colour with a blond and firm foamy head. Yeast-spicy and slightly dusty, mildly wheaty aroma with slightly citric hops. Yeasty, sourish wheat character with notes of citrus; slightly sweet and moderately sour-fruity, even delicately tart finish with yeasty spice. 26.VIII.14

UPDATED: NOV 30, 2014 33cl bottle from "Cerveteca" bar in Lisbon. Pour is pale yellow with a very cloudy appearance and a large white head, just like a wheat beer. Aroma is citrus lemon, white wine and a little bit of yeast. It has a lemony and a sour taste, with an yeasty presence at the end. It is moderately carbonated with a medium light body and a dry finish. Although complex in nature, it is very refreshing and has a high drinkability. Not really my type of beer and wouldn’t buy it again, but I understand its quality.

sayravai (4673) - Helsinki, FINLAND - AUG 21, 2014
(Bottled May 28th, 2013) Opaque orange with a small, firm but quickly fading head. Aroma of pale-grainy malt and herby hops, with an orangey twist. Flavor is orange-fruity and sweetish with brett sourness, some herby hops, but low bitterness. Medium body, quite refreshing but could have more CO2. The wild yeasts feel a bit artificial and the beer is nearly flat after pouring. Other than that, this is a reasonable saison attempt. 5355
