[APK; 9.24]

Aroma: Pineapple, Turkish delight, hint of coffee, mint Appearance: Black with small tan head. Taste: Strong roast flavour, salty chocloate with a blanket of grapefruit bitterness leading back to a roast coffee finish. Palate: Medium body with a slight oiliness. Medium carbonation with a hot, bitter finish. Overall: Hot and roasty; A big-hitting black IPA.

Bottle 33cl. Black wi a brown head. Aromas off fresh hop, coffee and some menthol liquorice. Very rich taste with a great bitterness. Perfect in balance. The american hops compliments the dark taste of coffee. A really good beer. Long finish.

Great and long creamy head giving beautiful lacing on glass. Pours black. Aroma explodes with hops, firstly more herbal then citrus. Great notes of dark malts combine with herbs countered by nice mandarin like notes which make this bear very drinkable. Alcohol is well disguised. Palate is rich from herbs through dark malts, melanoidines and citrus hops. Almost perfect CDA. It’s the best Imperial Cascadian Dark Ale I have ever drunk!!! Kurdos to De Molen. Drunk from bottle, 4 months after bottling (date 19/12/13).

Had this one @ The Hoppy Pub, on tap. Hoppy aromas. Some roasted malt flavor. Very refreshing and hoppy. Nice one.

(Draught at Arendsnest, Amsterdam, 28 Feb 2014) Black colour with foamy, beige head. Malty, roasted nose with notes of coffee, chocolate, pine needles and hints of mint. Malty, roasted taste with black coffee, dark chocolate, pine needles and a fairly dry finish with a generous piney bitterness. Almost full body, quite dry. Solid and well made black IPA. Very nice.

Wyczuwalna nuta alkoholowa.

Bottle from at Cotteridge Wines; black pour with massive frothy tan head, chocolate and coffee aroma, taste had plain chocolate, piney hop punch, roasted malts, excellent CDA.
