huge creamy light brown head. excellent lacing. mostly diminishing. flat thick black body. aroma: light malty, caramel, moderate hoppy. if: light sweet moderate bitter. ff: light sweet acidic heavy bitter; long duration. palate: light medium body, watery texture, soft carbonation, metallic finish. Aroma azeitona e quik morango. Amargor lupulado com toques de azeitona. Leve dulçor de quik de morango surge como defeito. Disfarça bem os 8,4%. Leve acidez surge no final (lembrando azeitona também), sem prejudicar.40 s

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Quasi black colour with average, creamy, fairly lasting, moderately lacing, beige head. Herbal, minimally piney and citrusy hoppy aroma, dark malty background. Taste is herbal and minimally citrusy hoppy, dark malty background with cautious hints of coffee. Overall not that hoppy as I expected considering the hop bill - still nice, though.

Uma excelente cerveja. Espuma densa e cremosa. Coloração escura e amargor no ponto. Teor alcoólico perfeito para uma IPA.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Teku glass. Pitch black, with big, medium-lasting, light brown head, very good lacing. Suprisingly in the beggining you can smell some tropical fruits - lychee, mango. Medium roasted malts aroma - caramel, chocolate, medium aroma of fresh mostly herbal and piney hops with some hints of citrus. Booziness is quite noticable from the beggining. Quite complex. At first you can taste some sourness from dark malts and tropical fruit sweetenss. Than bitterness from hops and roasted malts. From the middle piney and herbal hops character is dominant. In the background you can find some malty, even sweet character. Finish is semi dry with hints of sweetness. Low booze is noticable. Dry beer, medium carbonation, medium to full body, oily texture, no alcohol warmth. In overall very complex Black IPA. Good combination of hops and malts. You can smell and taste everything what is on the label. Rye malts gives it very good lacing and oily texture. Nelson sauvin males it refreshing and dry. Good balance between roasted malts and fruity, piney hops makes it quite drinkable. This beers is variation of De molen IPAs - almost juicy fruitiness (which is very characteristic for De molen) combined with roasted malts.
