33cl bottle sampled in a snifter. Dark brown brew with 2 fingers of foam with medium retention and nice lacing. Aroma of cocao and citrus. Tastes fruity, cocao, alcohol, bitter and roasted. Very bitter aftertaste and medium-high carbonation. Good brew!

20cl from tap @ de Molen. Black color, strong beige head. Aroma roasted malt, coffee, dark chocolate, slight citrus, cannabis. Alchohol is totally hidden. Taste heavy bitter. Full body, oily feel, soft carbonation, fine long coffeeish bitter finish. Very tasty and very good balance.

Bottle shared in London for my farewell drinks. Big cheers to Colin the BIPA fiend. Pours dark brown with a small khaki head. Nose is tangy orange and tangerine with cloves, spice and some bacon forward smokiness. The tang doesn’t quite go with the smoke forward notes. Taste is smoke, banana, dry cocoa powder, spice and citric hops. Solid but a little too all over the place

Bottle shared at Josh’s Farewell Hoorah - picked up from De Molen Shop, 20/02/14. Extremely dark mahogony brown with a moderate light tan covering. Nose is Germaline, earthy hops, tangy citrics, light soap, earthy cocoa, grapefruit tinge. Taste comprises bitter tropicals, dank hops, brown sugar, mineral bite, earthy cocoa. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, hop bitterness in the closure. Ok CDA.

33cl bottle, bottled on 13/05/13. Pours black with a thin, but lasting brown head. Roasted malty, fruity hoppy, mild sweetness in aroma, really really inviting. Taste has dryness, wood, hops, oranges, roasted malt. Hoppy, dry bitter finish. Balanced, wel-made BIPA. One of the better ones I have tried. Too bad it is a small bottle... edit: lower the points 0.1, gets quite ashy as it warms up.

Black with a small tan beige head. Roasty aroma with some dark chocolate and some leafy hops, a bit fruity. Roasty flavor, bitter and a bit sweet, with some dark chocolate...not bad

Bottle shared in London at the Josh Farewell tasting. Thanks to C-Dog for this CDA. Pours clear, cola brown with a creamy tan head. Toasty bread in the nose, some pine and herbs, suggestions of dusty cocoa. Light-medium sweet flavor with more toasty bread, ripe citrus, orange, milk chocolate. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Lightly resinous on the finish, more nicely toasted bread, a bit of earthy bitterness, orange rind, faint alcohol. Nice one.
