75cl Bottle at 4th Noord-Hollands Bierfestival. Clear brown colour, off white head. Aroma of malts, dark fruits, light spicy. Flavour is light sweet, malty, caramel, light chocolate, dark fruits, light spices, light bitter finish. Light to medium bodied. OK, but could use some more body.

Bottle 750ml. @ [ Fastelavn Smagning - Carnival Tasting - Ulfborg ].

Clear medium to dark amber colour with a large, frothy and speaking, good lacing, mostly lasting to diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, light to moderate yeasty, light brown sugar - sweet yeast, light alcoholc - phenol. Flavour is moderate to light light heavy sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft - fizzy. [20120218]

75 cL bottle. Pours clear and golden deep orange with a small tan head. Aroma is toasted malty and slight breadish. Dry malty and phenolic. Sweet roasted malty and breadish. Dark caramelish.

Bottle, 8.5%. CO2 aroma. Hazy red copper colour. Small stable frothy white head. The flavour is caramelly and slightly sweet. Some sweet liquorice and alcohol. Not so clean, but seen worse. A bit too carbonated.

Bottle 75 cl. Courtesy of fonefan. Pours amber with a slight haze and a dissipating off-white head. Sweet brown sugar aroma. Solid body, sweet caramel, dark fruits, yeast and phenols. Quite some alcohol heat. 180212

Bottle, 75cl. A clear, dark amber beer topped by a creamy, light beige head. The aroma has quite a lot of white sugar, with dried fruits, some caramel and a touch of something spiced. The flavor is pretty much the same, sugary and fruity with also some dried fruits. Full-bodied and quite heavily carbonated. Fruity finish with some bitterness. Not very successful, but drinkable indeed. 120218

Bottle @ Fastelavnssmagning 2012, Ulfborg. Pours amber with a spritzy off white head. Caramel, spices and yeast. Medium bodied. Warmth from alcohol. A bit sugary and quite sweet.

Bottle @ fonefan tasting. Huge frothy head with good duration. Color is amber. Aroma and taste are caramel, sweet malt, yeast, fruits and hops.

Bottle. Clear dark amber with medium tan head. Aroma is malt, yeast and fruit. Flavour is malt, caramel, dark fruit, yeast, phenols, high carbonation, hop and a little bitter.

Bottled. An amber beer with a beige head. The aroma has notes of alcohol, caramel, and malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of caramel, straw, alcohol, and a bit of butterscotch, leading to a dry finish.

Clear reddish amber with a lasting off-white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, caramel and dark sugar. Flavor is quite sweet and moderate bitter. Dry and moderate bitter finish. High carbonation. 180212
