Pours dark amber with a minimum head, that disappeares quickly. Aroma of malt, hops almost not present. In taste huge malt backbone and medium bitterness. Maybe I got an old bottle but this beer was a huge disappointment.

It's not an easy beer to drink as a first of the evening. It's quite good and hoppy. Would recommend ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Amber, brownish orange color with a huge, froth head, which leaves a fine lacing. Grassy, floral hops, with pine and honeyed malts, along with zingy hints of lemon and kiwi, which add a lovely fruity note to the nose. Very well balanced aromas, evoking the impression of a DIPA with an intriguing complexity. Taste is very different than expected, as this beer is enormously carbonated, which adds a present metallic note to the usual refreshing feeling, but also is way to fizzy on the palate, as all other tastes can’t unfold beneath the metallic carbon dioxide. Also malts define this ale more than the actual hops, a huge malt backbone adds warming earth notes to the beer, which creates a very strange impression amongst the metallic coating. Hops then become recognizable in a bitter, grassy way, as the beer leads to the finish, way to late for my taste and not very intense either. Nevertheless, the mouthfeel is supersmooth and very enjoyable. Makes up for not being very hoppy by revealing unforseen spicy notes, which enhance the lack of balance, as those just dont want to fit in.

Reb brown colour, opaque with huge carbonation. I mean, the whole beer goes up in streams of bubbles, beautiful! Creamy, thick head which lasts for ages, fantastic! Smell is sourwood, caramel with an intense fruity sweetness. Strawberry, apple? Subtle wood and spices and maybe some leather in the background. Taste is surprisingly bitter after the smell, maybe a bit too astringent. Not much sweetness with limited afterataste, just a lot of sour bitterness. Pity after the promising smell. I’m thinking maybe a british or belgian hop could make all the difference. Still, not a bad beer at all!

Amber body and stable head. Resin hops, some caramel, pine and herbal hops. Great mix of American hops and I love the dark dry-hopped finish. Tasty bitterness, really nice mouth feel. Carmel and biscuit malts, even some roasted ones, all blend and make this a real double ipa at a reasonably moderate abv level. I much enjoyed this one! (Bottle bought shared by Valentin in between festival sessions during the 1FRBG)

Very hazy deep amber beer, good pale cream coloured head. Palate is airy with good fine crisp carbonation. Airy malt, semi sweet. Lovely vibrant hops - tangerine with orange peel, quite sherbetty. Trace of lemon. Finishes airy and semi dry. Tangy citric linger. A delight.

Bottle at home. Hazy amber, bitter lemon, tart, toffee, a bit sour- infected?

0,33l fles gedeeld met Nikos. Mooi oranje met een beperkte schuimkraag. Geur met tropisch fruit, perzik en een mooie volle bittere smaak.
