ChrisOs Easter Tasting. Opaque dark brown beer, good pale tan head. Palate is airy, semi dry and has mild fine carbonation. Mildly roasted dark malts. Modest dark malt creamy sweetness. Light dry finish, a mild roasty bitter linger. Okay.

Scopey (8279) - Croydon, Greater London, ENGLAND - APR 8, 2015
Bottle at the House of Pancakes. It pours clear deep brown with a thick beige head. The taste is toasty brown bread, grain, caramelised stuff and cocoa. The taste is toasty, earth, wood, leather, pepper, booze, dried fruits, toffee, cocoa and a touch of acidity. Medium+ body, high carbonation and foamy mouth-feel. A step down from the Linkwood version, but not bad.

Bottle share at ChrisO’s. Dark purple brown, hazy, sparkling, big foamy tan head, light lacing. Aroma is chocolate, tangerine, pungent and estery. Body is medium, foamy, low carbonation. Taste is toffee, orange oil, dry and bitter in the finish. Alright.

Ik ben helemaal niet van de stout bieren maar deze heb ik voor de verandering een hogere score gegeven. Dit omdat hij zo ontzettend zacht is van smaak, de gebrande moutsmaak niet heeft en echt lekker kwa nasmaak was.

BBD: have to check, but within expiry time for sure.
In short: nice IStout.
Pours black with nice tan head. Short head retention, little lacing. Roasty, coffee, spicy aromas. Medium body, soft carbonation, oily texture. Taste is roasty, coffee, some cacao.

The overall (and first) impression is: too sweet. But then comes the spicy bitterness that balances the sweetness. Hints of coffee and rasted nuts round it up. It’s a heavy beer with a full body. Only the finish could last longer for this type of beer. Yes, this is definitely a good beer and worth being called "Imperial"

Dark beer with a thin brown head. Nice imperial stout nose with dark grains, ripe fruit and some dark chocolate. Flavors of bitter chocolate, dark roast grains, overripe fruit, something flinty and a nice alcohol bloom in the finish. Very enjoyable if not very flashy.

Aroma of rasins, cherries and oak. Reaaly dark, big foamy off white head. Very oaky, lots of coffee en and a bit of chocalate. Nice rasinlike dry aftertaste.

Bottled@PBF IX. Deep coppery red colour with a small off-white head. Aroma is toffee, liquorice, chocolate and some slight ripe fruitiness to it. Flavour is chocolate, mild toasted notes, liquorice, ripe fruits as well as some raisins and a nice balancing bitterness kicking in too.
