Bottle as Peelander Dubbel. Poured forming a huge tanned creamy head. Lasts long. Aroma of cookies, malts and ripe fruits. Flavour is bitter for a dubbel, joined with some maltness. Quite off centered dubbel in my opinion.

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 Vaiz (2034) - Den Haag, NETHERLANDS - SEP 8, 2011

3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 Benzai (2711) - Oirschot, NETHERLANDS - AUG 28, 2011
Bottle @ home as "Peelander Dubbel", guessing it’s an alias for ’Peelander Bruine Pater’. Light redbrown / dark orange color, huge rough off-white head. Smells a bit sweet, I get a faint hint of strawberry. Taste has a sour hint to it and finishes with a weird, not really pleasing bitterness. Carbonation medium, body low to medium.

2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20 RickKempen (19) - Amsterdam, NETHERLANDS - DEC 14, 2009
A brownish beer, with a brownish flavor. Sort of ’forced’ roast aroma but it’snot completely disappointing. Yet the fizziness is too much and the yeast seems to be too upfront in the flavor. A really disappointing beer.
