Bottle, as Dubbel D Chaams Winterbier. Dark brown color. Caramelly maltaroma with cinnamon. Malty sweet, caramelly alcoholic flavor with hints of spices and coffee. A bit too simple to be good.

Sampled @ PINT Winterbierfestival Gouda 2013. Unclear reddish color, small to medium sized beige head. Smell and taste malts, lightly sweet, some alcohol, lightly fruity. Quite like it actually.

Flavour has sweet elements like caramel. Texture is smooth and rich. Balance is slightly in favour of sweet rather than bitter.

Poured a cloudy brown with a tan head. Aroma of honeyed caramel malt. Medium body, flavour is red fruit and sweet caramel.

Bottle sampled at Gouda Winterbier festival. Pours cloudy brown with a beige head. Aroma of roasted malt, chocolate, light coffee, caramel and light fruit. Flavour is light to moderate sweet and moderate bitter. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Bottle at Winterbierfestival. Gouda: Hazy brown coloured brew with pretty fine caramel taste also some hints of red fruits and honey.
