Theydon_Bois (12697) - Tourist Town (West), Berkshire, ENGLAND - SEP 4, 2014
Bottle shared at Chriso’s post GBBF minidig, 16/08/14. Clear golden with a well appointed off white covering of bubbles - a good start! Nose is cheesey, light fruit, bread, spice, cheesey - meh! Taste comprises less cheese but still messy, bitter fruit peel, toffee, hint musty. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, not good - the cheese factor overpowers.

Bottle. Dark golden with medium sized white head with lots of little bubbles. Grassy on the nose. Lots of fruit, citrus (lemon) but also peach and other stone fruits. Nice light biscuit maltiness. Light sweetness with fresh bitter hop finish. Medium bodied, lively carbonation. Hmmm, very drinkable! Nothing really stands out but I could drink a few of these any day.
