On tap at Cafe De La Gare. Pours clear copper with a decent lacy off-white head. Aroma is yeast, caramel, bready and some hops. Medium sweet and light bitter. Nice crisp mouthfeel. Less heavy than most scotch ales.

Bottle. A fruity aroma, some yeast and grapefruit. The head is very large, foamy and dark white with a long duration. The body is dark orange. A light alcoholic taste, fruity with some yeast. The body is medium strong, creamy and fizzy with a normal carbonation.

Draft - Pours a hazy gold with low carbonation. Some caramel notes. Sweet malt taste with an alcohol finish. Not balanced.

Tap at de Prael. Copper with thick off white head. Smoked ham, ash, sweet malts, peach, caramel, roasted pineapple, bbq sauce. Mainly sweet like most beers from de Prael. Medium to full bodied.

Bottle. Pale orange, hazy, with small white head. Candy aroma with belgian yeast accents, light smoke, bready, grassy, booz noticable. Taste is not sweet, dough, some toffe. Medium bodied, semi-sweet, soft carbonation, sticky texture, quite noticable alcohol warmth. Below average beer.

Bottle at Rootz. Hazy amber pour with thin white head. Aroma is sweet, candy, grassy hop. Taste is sweet, caramel with a somewhat bitter roasty after taste. Palate is med full bodied, slightly boozy. Decent.

Probably my favorite beer from the Prael Brewery. A wonderful ale with great aroma’s of fruit and hops and the most pleasant bitter aftertaste.

Hotel tasting with Colin Theydon Bois. Very hazy gold beer, big off white head. Smooth airy palate. Semi dry, mild fine carbonation. Airy creamy sweet malts. Mild white smoke. Sweet floralness, trace of candy fruits. Interesting mix of sweet and smoky.

Hazed golden orange with a big ole off white head that retains well.
Nose is light smoke, pale malt, grain, bready notes, light pastic.
Taste comprises smoked malt, bread dough, toffee, sweet licks.
Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close.
Ok for style.
