3.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
There’s a strong lingering aftertaste on this one but other than that, there’s not too much to this one. A pretty standard kölsch.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
UPDATED: NOV 6, 2014 Poured from a 33cl bottle BBE Dec 2014. Sparkling, a bit cloudy, golden beer with a nice foamy white head. Tastes hoppy in the beginning, but evolves into a bittersweet dry and malty aftertaste which lingers for quite a while. There is also a small notion of the ’warmishness’ of the alcohol, but that doesn’t last that long. It’s aromas are quite, yeasty and grainy and slightly citrus-like. Quite carbonated as well. Overall a pretty decent beer with quite an appealling appearance. Lovely beer for a nice summer day.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
33 cl bottle @ Old Nickel, Amsterdam. BBE 12/2014. Aroma has grainy malt, grassy hops and hay and sweet fruits. Feels like a kellerbier. Flavour is crisp with citrus, some grassy and herbal hops. Finishes with apricot tones, which stay at the top with tart citrus at the middle of the glass. Not the most typical Kölsch, but I seem to enjoy this.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Tap @ Prael Proeflokaal (but I had this many times in the past).
hazy dark yellow color. White head, not much. Aroma’s: sweet malts, toasted, hops, some fruit. Flavor is moderate sweet, toasted, light bitter. Light to medium bodied. Delicate bitter finish. I do think that the next time it might be tasting quite different...
