JulienHuxley (2554) - Hilversum, NETHERLANDS - NOV 26, 2013
On tap at In de Wildeman. Really hazy gold pour, creamy white head. Light aroma, fruity, yeasty notes, light clove, grain husks, fresh bread. Taste is grainy, spicy, light fruity alcohol notes. Palate is light-medium bodied with medium carbonation. A bit rough around the edges for what should be an easy drinker, but not bad.

Bottled 0,33L. Medium dark and very hazy golden color, fraught and bubbly aspect with optimal foamy hrad of long duration. Fresh cereals and moderate citrus aroma, notes of yeast and malt. Medium smooth taste, a little citrus palate with miderate sweetish end.

Paar slokken van bryanvdv. Oranjebruin bier nauwelijks geuren maar wel een mooie smaak zoetzuur met een bittere afdronk

Douberd (1719) - Arnhem, NETHERLANDS - OCT 30, 2013
On tap at Cafe Touche, Arnhem. Golden yellow colour on the body, hazy, with a thin white head with good retention, leaves a nice medium thick lacing on the glass. Aroma is of grass and floral hops. Taste is also of floral hops, there is a light bitterness in it but with good duration and a little sourness bite on the aftertaste. Medium thin body with good carbonation. Overall quite good, very refreshing and great thirst-quencher.

On tap at the brewpub. Pours a hazy gold with a near white head that dissipates slowly to the edges and laces. Aroma has a good amount of grass and straw with a bit of hay backing. Flavor has a nice grass note that is backed by straw and a bit of hay.

Draught @ In the Wildeman. Really nice beer with a clean maltiness and fresh citrusy hops. Also a bit sweet, like honey.

Pours down a golden, slightly orange coloured beer with an one finger head wich disappears quite fast. Aroma is cheesy, grassy/hay and sweet. Sweetness of tropical fruits like pineapple and mango. Besides that it tastes citrussy and yeasty. There’s some yeast sendiment left in the bottle. Aftertaste is quite long and the carbonation is good. Overall nice beer. Perfect when you want a special beer, but not too strong and too complex. Easely drinkable.

This is a good looking Pale Ale that pours golden with a measured head. There’s a subtle fragrance of hard green apple, almost indistinguishable, but still there, like a Dutch Ninja, nonetheless. At first sip you’re immediately greeted by a bitter pinch of the tastebuds. This is joined by a wave of alcohol and malt--reminding you that it’s stronger than it appears--with a lingering bitter aftertaste. Overall, it’s a decent pale ale, but nothing ground-breaking. I feel it could use a bit more hops to mellow out the malt and alcohol, but it’s still a suitable option for a late afternoon by the canal.

Non male questa tedesca in versione orange. Colore dorato leggermente torbo, mentre al naso è davvero un bel floreale davvero invitante. In bocca è molto dissetante, e decisamente maltosa.
