Paar slokken van bryanvdv. Oranjebruin bier nauwelijks geuren maar wel een mooie smaak zoetzuur met een bittere afdronk

3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
On tap at Cafe Touche, Arnhem.
Golden yellow colour on the body, hazy, with a thin white head with good retention, leaves a nice medium thick lacing on the glass.
Aroma is of grass and floral hops.
Taste is also of floral hops, there is a light bitterness in it but with good duration and a little sourness bite on the aftertaste.
Medium thin body with good carbonation.
Overall quite good, very refreshing and great thirst-quencher.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
On tap at the brewpub. Pours a hazy gold with a near white head that dissipates slowly to the edges and laces. Aroma has a good amount of grass and straw with a bit of hay backing. Flavor has a nice grass note that is backed by straw and a bit of hay.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Draught @ In the Wildeman. Really nice beer with a clean maltiness and fresh citrusy hops. Also a bit sweet, like honey.

2.6 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Pours down a golden, slightly orange coloured beer with an one finger head wich disappears quite fast. Aroma is cheesy, grassy/hay and sweet. Sweetness of tropical fruits like pineapple and mango. Besides that it tastes citrussy and yeasty. There’s some yeast sendiment left in the bottle. Aftertaste is quite long and the carbonation is good. Overall nice beer. Perfect when you want a special beer, but not too strong and too complex. Easely drinkable.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
This is a good looking Pale Ale that pours golden with a measured head.
There’s a subtle fragrance of hard green apple, almost indistinguishable, but still there, like a Dutch Ninja, nonetheless. At first sip you’re immediately greeted by a bitter pinch of the tastebuds. This is joined by a wave of alcohol and malt--reminding you that it’s stronger than it appears--with a lingering bitter aftertaste.
Overall, it’s a decent pale ale, but nothing ground-breaking. I feel it could use a bit more hops to mellow out the malt and alcohol, but it’s still a suitable option for a late afternoon by the canal.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Non male questa tedesca in versione orange. Colore dorato leggermente torbo, mentre al naso è davvero un bel floreale davvero invitante. In bocca è molto dissetante, e decisamente maltosa.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
The epitome of greatness this one produces up in the glass; all three inches of rocky Belgian foam, held aloft for the length to daub a thick and messy lace. The body a well conditioned sunny yellow; quite bright before the yeast goes on in. Fresh, ripe pale citrus dominates the nose over inklings of caramelised stonefruit, peach and apricot - just screams out ’quaff me’ like something out of a Charles Dodgson novel. Creamy in texture, soft and supple upon the palate with a quenching fruity and dry finish. Light malt base, grainy and cereal-like holds in well amongst the fruity esters. Pineapple, and peach and apricot again with a lime and lemon zest back end and moderately bitter fruit peel swallow. Yeast adds depth to this, I don’t know how they went about it but this is boldly fruity like it was warm fermented. A mouthful of wonderfully balanced flavours and an aroma that speaks volumes. I wouldn’t batter an eyelid to drinking this one all afternoon, and then the next and the next..... A delicious brew that is more Belgian pale than Kölsch as the label suggests. Lovely!!!
