A Mes rate: Bottle at weekend of tarts afterparty.
Semi hazy dark amber brown colour with a dissipating off white head. Sweet fruity aroma with plenty of spice, a little tobacco and a bit of yeast that, for me, spoils it a little. The flavour is better. A rather full bodied yet still very drinkable beer. Lots of sweet caramel malt, plenty of fruit and spice with an unexpected yet pleasant floral note. Lots of fruit in the finish with some late bitterness. Interesting and enjoyable.

Very nice strong ale, very fruity with some spices, lots of strawberry and some yeast. Better then 2 years ago, some aging doesn’t hurt this beer!

Smallish offwhite head. Hazy deep orangey body. Deep fruity strawberry aroma with grassy notes. Sharp, deep fruity strawberry taste with sweet metallic notes. Some barnyard, too. Typically Belgian, with peppery soft metal notes. Very nice. (0.5l bottle from the Cracked Kettle, Amsterdam.)

Bottle 50 cl. Pours a hazy golden with a small white head and a sweet fruity and a little bit alcoholic flavor. The taste is well-rounded fruity sweetness with small coriander, hop and alcohol-notes. The finish is a tad bitter and sugarry but really enjoyable. I really like to sip and enjoy this quietly.

The Fonefan/Brugmansia Cnudde tasting. Courtesy of Fonefan/Brugmansia. Warm golden with a nice head. The aroma is sweet with notes of malt and acetone/glue. The flavour has sweetness, notes of malt, caramel, candy sugar, heather honey and it’s quite pleasant and smooth.
