3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20 jess_scott15 (39) - - DEC 8, 2011
Pours a hazy dark orange. The aroma includes coriander, fruit, caramel and slight banana. A medium bodied, easily drinkable beer. This beer is called a barley wine, but doesn’t follow the style very closely. It is a unique beer. The brewpub is an excellent setting.

Sampled on tap at the brewpub. Pours a hazy, burnt orange with a creamy, off white head. Flavor is very sweet, definitely some candy sugar, citrus, over ripe peaches, a little orange zest, something a touch medicinal. Nose is candy sugar, a touch estery. Full bodied, cloying, sweet finish. A little hot. Needed more of a hop kick.

From a cask at the brewery, listed as a barley wine there. The taste of this one was very unique. it had a nice yeasty taste that was kind of a sweet fruitiness to it and it was very drinkable. I would to try this one again
