3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
On tap at Prael Proeflokaal. Slightly hazy orange amber colour, dense white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, fruity, like a fruity Belgian amber. Flavour is medium sweet, fruity, malty, quickly taken over by a firm dry bitterness, light smoke, nice grassy hoppy bitter finish. Medium bodied, smooth. A lot less sweet (thank God) than expected by the aroma, with a lovely smokey touch. Nice.
