A glowing blond beer for the dark days. The fresh character of Willeke will embrace and warm you. Het paradepaardje van de Prael. Deze tripel volgens Belgische traditie waarin de koriander een dominante rol heeft gekregen is mild zoet en kruidig. Gebrouwen in 2014: 202 hl.

Tap, pours hazy yellow with a white head. Quite soft and sweet, creamy, with present coriander and citrus. Somewhat soapy. Not very memorable.

330 ml bottle. BB 5/2016. From my January Advent Calendar.
Hazy golden color with a small white head. Yeast, malt and some spices in the aroma. Nothing wrong there. The flavor is malt, yeast, mild bitterness, mild rubber and some spices. Decent Tripel. No signs of Willeke though.

Light yellow ochre, hazy with yeast poured, foggy white head. Fresh fruits, citrus, coriander, Belgian yeast, wine-like notes. Light body, mildly sweet, long finish with banana, peach, quite soft feel. Ok, refreshing and light, easy to drink. Advent beer 14.

From tap at De Prael while waiting for Tim Webb’s lecture for Carnivale Brettanomyces. Thick, regular, moussy, snow white head over a hazy peach blonde beer. Aroma of apricot, soapy hops, flowers, baked banana, bread, pineapple, baker’s yeast, caramel and fried eggs. Fruity, light estery taste, peachy, sweetish, dried orange peel, touch banana, bready yeastiness, medium long and drying, leafy hop bitterish finish. Quite a nice tripel.

33cl flesje via Jan Linders, Maastricht Alcoholpercentage van 7,5% Uitgeschonken in St. Bernardus glas Gedronken als Tripel ipv Willeke Uiterlijk: goudoranjekleurig, schuim trekt snel weg Aroma en smaak: neus is fruitig, smaak ook fruitig als mango, snoepjes, zoetig, Belgisch gist Conclusie: tripel aan de zoete kant, vind hem zelf wel smakelijk ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
