Bottle from de Bierkoning, Amsterdam. Huge rocky platina blond head. Body is hazy, yellow-golden. Fresh and sharp citrus-zesty aroma. Yeast and spice notes, and a pleasant perfumey scent. Crisp, restraind malt body. Bold fruity taste, lemon and grapefruit, with an acidic touch. More spices and a well prononced earthy and grassy bitterness. Quite filling and supercrisp in the mouth. A Very fresh and very quenching strong Blonde.

(Draught at Arendsnest, Amsterdam, 2 Aug 2009) Cloudy orange colour with frothy, beige head. Fruity nose with notes of citrus, citrus peel and fresh grassy hops. Malty, fruity taste with grass, citrus, grapefruit and a generous, grassy bitterness in the finish. More than medium body, balanced sweetness. Very nice beer with a fresh, fruity, grassy character. Lovely balance, excellent beer.

750ml bottle (Cracked Kettle, Amsterdam)
This was more than a gusher - it actually lost a third of its contents in transit here! However, it still seemed to have positive pressure when it arrived (and large amounts of that too) so we thought it was worth a try anyway.
Hazy orange, huge ice-cream-float head. Sharp crisp yeasty zesty aroma. Lively carbonation in the mouth. Almost saison-like freshness to the palate, a hint of citrussy sourness perhaps. Spicy and slightly sticky from the malts in places, but also tingly hops - I can feel my heartbeat in my gums now! Lovely bitter hoppy finish. Very good blond covers the alcohol pretty well - thank goodness it survived the trials and tribulations of the journey!

0,75 l bottle, bought at the newly established brewery at Oudezidjs Voorburgwal. Delicious beer with a hazy amber appearance, fine small lacing head. Firstly comes a pleasant floral-resiny hop perfume, after a while arrives a caramel feeling of some sweet malt with fine spices. The flavor is rich and spicey, good balanced toasty caramell and fruity hop tastes of fig and honey, some maltiness. I think the beer is underpointed at the moment...It was nice, interesting and absolutely pleasant.

On tap at ’t Arendsnest. Hazy pale golden with a creamy, lacing white head. Fruity aroma. Quite spicy fruit flavours, some graininess as well. A bit of earth. Drinkable.

from crackedkettle.com - hazy orange in colour with a poor head; estery with notes of exotic fruits and oily hops; slightly oily with a respectable malt body, sweet with a chewy mouthfeel and a low bitterness; sweetish and fruity finish - pleasant and balanced
