Bottle, in the sun. Great beer for any occasion. Don't drink it as your first. The name is the only bad thing about it. Taste isn't standard triple. But great variation. Would recommend ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

33 cl. bottle @ home, bought @ Gall & Gall, Doorn. Hazy golden with a big white head. Very yeasty aroma with lots of coriander. Taste is sweet but with an underlying lingering bitterness. Weird but somehow also tasty tripel.

Classic strong ale with a nice mixture of hops and yeast. Some fruits, bit of vanilla and butter in the back. Not that bad.

Pours out of the bottle in a hazy golden colour with steady low head and medium to smooth body. Aroma of Belgian yeast and hops. Taste of light Belgian yeast, hops, straw, mild fruits, caramel, herbs and spices. Mild and smooth finish. Nice one.

33cl bottle bb? (not marked), bought early 2013. Pours clinically clear orange like a chemical solution with a metallic sheen on top. Aromas of hobby glue, wallpaper paste, Marillenschnaps, dust - an olfactoric, postmodern puzzle, opening this eery House of Leaves toward the putrid and alcoholic. Taste of cheaper Filiers peach jenever, a step down from Marillenschnaps, then both green banana and overripe autumn fruit basket luxuriously rotting in a slow insipid sun. Tapetenkleister gluey palate, lingering hop and yeast-bitter finish. There must be a fresher, harmonious angle on this as well...

Bottle 330 ml at home, into a tulip glass. ABV 7.5% Deep orange olour on the body, hazy, with huge head, almost three fingers tall, white inn colour and with great retention, leaving heavy lacing around the glass. Aroma is of sweet malts, sugars, light alcohol, stone fruits. Taste is sweet, fruity, with even a touch of smoke in there, sugar, a bit boozy. Medium body, soft carbonation. Very good, that smokey touch came as a surprise but a pleasant one.

Small off-white head, fast gone over full hazy orange-beer, small UFO-dotted. White candi sugar, suggested in a warm, bit liqueurish citrus nose. Bitterish-spicy, sharp flavour, again fruity-citrussy in the finish, but slightly aggressive. Coriander in the palate, hints at oxydation. Some astringency, enhanced by the visually absent, but texturewise very present carbonation. Not very well-bodied at all. Its not bad, just unsettling. Im especially worried this bottle stayed on the Gall & Gall shelf wy too long. ( And somehow, I wonder how to connect Marleen Spaargaren with a tripel...
