Aroma of light roasted malts, rye, a bit of spice and liquorice. Flavour is light sweet, roasted malts, laurel, liquorice, light bitter finish, dry mouthfeel. Medium bodied, soft carbonation. Candy sugar aroma with warming alcohol, prunes and raisins. In mouth, roasted cocoa with fruity esters, chocolate, warming alcohol. Rich and complex. On tap at In de Wildeman, Nov. 2006, 2.90 Euro, 250 mL.

Hazy bronze, low pale beige head and moderate condition. Low fruity esters and malt aromas with some spirity alcohol, gentle figgy sweetness in the mouth with yeast and faint esters apparent, gentle apple skin dry finish with yeast and fruit.
