3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20 womencantsail (6920) - Garbage Grove, California, USA - OCT 2, 2012
Dark brown pour with a khaki head. Smells of burnt toast and roasted malt with a mild diacetyl aroma. Some mild lactose sweetness and earthy hops. The flavor is a bit buttery as well with a heavy roasted malt character, burnt toast, and a mild toffee sweetness. Fairly bitter for a milk stout without much lactose character.
