3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
750ml brown synthetic corked and caged bottle.
It pours an amberish/brownish/red rather than a blonde. It has a thick white head that leaves a lot of lacing.
The smell is fruity, there are some slight herbal hops over that, and a bit of sweetness, it is simple but effective.
The flavor has a hint of vegetal, herbal, earthiness, it isnít all that good. It is yeasty with some fruit, slight hop flavors, and some caramel.
A supremely average Belgian Pale.

2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Cloudy caramel orange with a medium tan head. Aroma of yeast, light fruit, mild spices, malt and grains. A little heavy on the carbonation and light on the flavor department. Yeast, grains and mild fruit and a touch of alcohol. Not real impressed, but the bottle was cheap.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Serving: 750 ml. bottle from Total Wine Sterling.
Aroma: The nose is lighter than expected with notes of a litte star fruit, Belgian yeast, and candy sugar. A little more simplistic than I was hoping.
Appearance: It pours a slightly hazy gold color with a small, foamy, white head. Lesser head retention.
Taste: This one came across as rather one dimensional with the primary notes being candy sugar and Belgian yeast. That tropical fruit note seems all but gone, replaced by a slight honey note.
Palate: Light in body with above average carbonation and a short, sweet finish.
Overall: This one just doesnít excite me the way other Belgians do. It lacks both depth and complexity. If you are looking to get your feet wet in the Belgian world, this may not be a bad beer, but if you are well versed, you will probably find this one underwhelming.

3.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle. [thanks after4ever]
Pours hazy orange with a nice, creamy, off-white head. Good lacings. Aroma has some yeast, light grapefruit, soft pepper. Medium carbonation, fine dry and oily palate. Flavour is dry, some cardboard, oranges, yeast, mild malty, a touch of bitterness with some grapefruit thrown in. Not spectacular (especially the cardboard detracts), but nicely drinkable.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 14/20
Little head, unfilitered beer, poured into an avery tasting room glass. Subdued belgian yeast on nose, friendly and fruity. On the palate there is an off flavor, kinda murky and metallic. Hurts it, its not really that good at all.
10 min later, ok the metallic taste went away, tasty, very mild, a relaxer. I like it more now. Changed rating from3 to 3.2

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
750, corked and baled, courtesy the fine hospitality of CB. Thanks, man. Pours a cloudy medium toffeeish gold with a dense and compact white head. Nice toffeeish sweet nose, caramelly. Creamy medium body with light and bracing carb. Toffee, caramel, and a bit of yeasty spice on the mid palate. Mild finish. Another tasty and well-made De Proef.

Clear amber color/ ivory sheen. Nice earthy hop, honey biscuit, bready spicy aromas. Light bodied with average co2. Big honey biscuit sweetness, with earthy, herbal, floral, belgian spice flavors--almost good.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
750 ml corked and caged bottle into Trappist glass. May be out of date. Pours a hazy gold with a small collapsing head and little lace. Aroma is apples--it actually smells like apple juice. Tastes kind of like it too--apple juice mixed with beer. Itís sweet with little bitterness. Has a grainy flavor. Very dry, medium carbonation and body. Not very good; hopefully not because itís past its prime.

2.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
750 ml bottle- Pours cloudy golden with a thin white head and nice lacework, aroma is tropical fruit, very sweet in the nose. The flavor is the same, very tropical sweet, some kind of a melon and bananas and even pineapple are prominent, it also has a dryness to it. This isnít even close to a great belgium beer, I would question if its even good. The best I can say is that itís tolerable. There is carbonation issues, they are too low for this sort of beer, it leaves a sickly sweet flavor in my mouth. This is not a drain pour, but I will never buy this again. I am pretty sure this was out of date, so take this review for what it is, the reason I reviewed it is I thought these beers were bottle conditioned and the flavor would hold up, I donít know if this is how it is supposed to taste or not?

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Pour is a murky brownish with a small white head. Aroma is some apple cider and vinegar. Flavor kinda redeems itself. A nice toffee showing itself first then comes a nice raision and dark fruit. Finish has some fruit and brown sugar. Maybe if they filtered this just a little it would look more like something you would want to drink than crap water.
