3.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 15/20
Decent sour but the alcohol content overpowered the sour taste and threw it off a little bit.

This is not a sour. And this is definitely not a Flander's sour. This is not a sour. And this is definitely not a Flander's sour.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Majority of 25.4 oz. bottle, consumed on 6-1-15. Labeled as ďReinaert Wild Ale.Ē Iíve had this cellaring for about a year, I estimate. Strong, fruity aroma features scents of bubblegum, apricot candy, cotton candy, raspberry, and gummy candy. Very distinctive aroma. The smell is a bit too sweet and sugary for my tastes but impressive nonetheless. Pours a cloudy bronze with much suspended particulate and a moderate amount of beige head. Interesting, dry, yeasty, funky taste. Flavors of armpit, apricot nectar, peach, lemon tea, and a touch of Band-Aid. Thereís a disconnect between the fruity-sweet aroma and dry, funky taste. Slightly bitter aftertaste. Medium to full body. Unremarkable palate effects. Overall, interesting and memorable. I gave an extra point in the overall score for that reason. Itís more interesting than good, but itís certainly not bad. Itís pretty tasty in fact.

3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle. Pours a hazy orange-golden color with a moderate white head on there. Nose is floral, but has some menthol and eucalyptus coming through for me. Taste is sour and earthy, but seems a bit stale to me. Not really what the nose implied at all...

Draft. "Wild ale". Cloudy, amber color. Fine white head that sticks to the glass. Strong sour raisin scent. Hint of hops. Very little alcohol flavor. Twinge of sour, yeast. Smooth, somewhat acidic, pretty nice.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
12 oz bottle at home. Thanks Carah and Laura! Super interesting- definitely leaning towards the barnyard/ funk side but that works for me. Pours a murky, light golden orange. Tons of brett notes- sour, funk and earth. Citrus and saison notes play well for some semblance of balance. Long, dry, and yes, funky finish. Pretty great. Totally enjoyable.

750ml c&c bottle given to me by my Uncle in honor of Sir Dante, cheers buddys. Poured a slightly hazed rusty gold with a huge bright white foamy head. Aroma is funky and funky, lightly sour, brett, cherry, horse blanket, honey and old flowers. Body has a soft mouthfeel despite loads of stingy carbonation and a lingering aftertaste. Flavor is dry bread crust, lemon zest, cherry skin, flower petals and brett. Nice stuff and well hidden ABV.
