Clear golden body, small white head. Typical tripel attributes of banana, clove, and fruity esters. Very little hoppiness. The alcohol is fairly evident. About average.

Very nice pour, a clear golden body with a fluffy white head. The latter didn’t stay around too long. Come to think of it, neither did the body, since I drank the ale. The aroma is sweet and lightly bready and has lively spicy scents. Smooth drinking, it also has a mild lemony tartness to it that works well with lightly added tastes of cherries. Pretty decent.

Golden with a medium white head that dissapears quickly. Smells faintly sweet and citruisy. The flavor is sweet with warm spices, and the finish is mellow and the same. It feels a little too thin though

Bottle... Lightly hazy yellow beer with a mid-sized, creamy, white head. Fantastic retention. Phenolic, yeasty nose... lots of clove aside heavy helpings of biscuit, cookie and white bread. Full-bodied and just short of syrupy with soft carbonation. Heavily sweet and lightly fruity with gentle breadsy notes. Fortunately, moderate bitterness makes a last second, shoestring tackle to prevent a total, sickly sweet blowout. Subtle, spicy phenols. Lengthy, bittersweet, almost tongue-numbing finish. An odd bird, this one; but not at all unpleasant.

Sold in a 25 ounce "corked" bottle. Pours a cloudy yellow with a long-lasting white head. Mild wheat aroma. Flavor has a strong alcohol bite with a bit of citrus, lemon, and clove. Good stuff, especially after the 8.5% alcohol kicks in!

This golden ale poured with a nice white head. There is a malty start with a dry yeasty finish. A bit like Duvel, but not as sweet.

750 ml. bottle. Pours a light/pale yellow....head is white and frothy, almost like seafoam. Medium body, somewhat sweet, and there’s a hint of corn, with some citrus notes.
