Mar 22, 2008 Clear golden body, small white head. Typical tripel attributes of banana, clove, and fruity esters. Very little hoppiness. The alcohol is fairly evident. About average.

Oct 16, 2005 750 ml. corked & caged bottle. No freshness date seen. Poured out a very light golden yellow color, with a voluminous white head. The head is meringue like, and sticks around forever. Aromas are of spiced pears, certainly cardamom & coriander are present. Very carbonated, and effervescent. Flavors are of sweet malts, spices, and citrus. Earthy hops round out the flavors. Medium mouthfeel, kind of slick. Finishes with a citrus flavor to it. Not the best triple I ever had, but not terrible either.

Jun 21, 2009 Straw yellow color with a tall soapy whit ahead. Aroma of apples and spice. Taste of apples, spice, sugar, and yeast. Nicelt carbonated. Somewhat of a hot edge. Very good beer!

Sep 21, 2006 Updated: Oct 17, 2006Birthday gift from my numbawansan: Hazy pale yellow with a huge fluffy white head. Aroma is spicy, yeasty and fruity. Flavor starts lightly sweet and fruity (apricot and pear) becoming lightly tart (lemon) and finishing kinda dry and peppery. Medium bodied and velvety with lively carbonation. Yum.

Jan 12, 2009 Yellowish pour with a huge and intense white head. Very sweet in the aroma, to me it almost smells like apple juice really, with some honey thrown in for good measure. Very sweet flavor as well, more fruit and honey but with a nice hop snap at the end. Solid brew all around.

Oct 13, 2005 Pours a hazy light orange with a frothying bubbly head that dissipates fairly slow. The aroma is very complex and tart with hints of orange, honey and corriander but nothing really smacks you in the face. The body is med. light but mouth filling due to high CO2. The flavors is med. sweet, moderate spice with a wonderful candy-like orange tang acidity with some yeastiness which really doesn’t bother me...hey I’m a homebrewer. Yeast is a part of life...literally. The finish is very lightly bitter yet dry due to high attenuation. Very nice strong golden ale. I agree with Senior "Beerexpert" that this is not a knock-off of Duvel, however the marketing surely is.

Oct 6, 2006 Aroma of spiced lemon zest emanates from the inch of white head atop this hazy pale orange brew. Taste is somewhat acetic with an indistinct spice yeast combination. Not a favorite. $4/11.2ozs

Aug 29, 2007 Pours golden with a wide bubbled, white, mrengue-like head. Aroma of pear, coriander, apple. Taste is soft with small bubbles on tongue, luxurious mouth feel. Taste is the asaid fruits. Malty, sweet and spicy. Well balanced. Solid representation of the stout.
