750ml c&c bottle shared by Ed. Poured a hazed tea brown body with a smaller faomy white head. Aroma is sweet, candi sugar, dry tropical fruits, bad bread, syrup, some light wood and a touch of candle wax. Medium bodied with average to slightly stronger carbonation and an average duration on the aftertaste. Flavor of mango, tropical fruits, dry sugar, yeast, dry bread and some cat piss as well. Decent beer, thanks Ed.

Iíve really had a good time trying beers from this series. I must say, this one (and the one done with Hair of the Dog) is a real winner. Slightly hazy copper pour, with a white head and some translucent white lacing. Nose is mango and peaches with a slight belgian yeast fruit / pepper thing going on. Taste is excellent - big fruity flavors of peach give way to a dry oak character and finish with fruity hops and bitterness. Really well done. I donít pick up any coconut anywhere, but the beer just works.

750, corked and baled. Thanks, C! Pours a clear medium golden amber with a thin white head. Intensely ammoniated nose, very much a catbox effect. Creamy medium body, a little reedy and sticky. Some light fruity notes on the mid palate, showing coconut and peach, but mostly a dry husky quality from residual sugars. Not very organized and not very clean.

Pours a rich golden color with a finger or two of thick white foam. The nose is ripe with tropical notes that mingle with sweet belgian yeast esters. Touch of peach, pineapple, creamy coconut, vanilla and light spices. The palate is round and full with nice juicy tropical notes mingling with classic belgian tripel flavors. Nice fruit in the finish... worth trying for sure !

Draft. Golden pour with white head. Very mild aroma, some light citrus and oak tones, with fruit. Flavor comes across as a tripel with woody and light fruit undertones. Very smooth, must be the coconut.

Bottle shared with timfoolery. Way too many floral notes goin on in this for my taste. It covered up the tropical flavors and sort of tasted like flowery perfume.

On tap at Flying Saucer. Pours a cloudy yellow with medium frothy white head. The aroma is strong clove and fruity malt. Medium mouthfeel with light fruit flavor, spice, and clove. Good.

Bottle from Rare Beer Club. Aroma is more Tripel and peach, rather than coconut. Palate could be better. It really shows bitter notes after the peach. Flavor is about the same. Pretty good beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
