Pours orange. Nose is coconut, fruits, sweet caramels, toast, so much coconut. Flavor, sweet but not cloying, finishes surprisingly dry for its sweetness. Interesting and good but a lot going on.

UPDATED: AUG 10, 2013 Bottle
Aroma: Tropical fruit, distinct belgian banana, oak, vanilla, subtle tartness
Appearance: Nice, clear orange/amber with lacing white head with good retention
Taste: Initial taste is not distinctive and a bit bitter. Notes of fruit and oaky smoothness in midpalate and finish. Fruit juices sweetness.
Palate: Medium body and mouthfeel. Warming alcohol sensation. Chalky, peach skin bitterness toward the finish
Overall: Aroma promises more fruit than I pick up in the taste. Alcohol seems to subdue the subtle fruit flavors.

750ml from the Rare Beer Club. Slightly murky pour, medium orange with a fluffy head and delicate lacing. Wood chips mask most of the coconut in both the nose and the taste but kind of enhance tripelís bite and sharpness. This made it far less sweet to me than some have found, although the tropical fruits are certainly anything but muted. I found the peach to be more like peach juice, sweetish, and there were hints of papaya too. Interesting.

750 ml bottle. Sweet. Really sweet. Tropical fruit. Honey. Shades of coconut. Not sure on this one. For the price, maybe not a hit. Unless you like super sweet tripels.

Hazy apricot colored pour. White head. Very sweet and tropical flavors. Coconut, melon, honey, caramel. A bit too sweet but an interesting beer.

Bottle shared with Jessie and Taylor care of Taylor. Pours lightly hazy orange with light to medium body. Notes of fake grape, bubblegum, coconut, sweet malt, sugar, and candy. So fucking sweet and bubblegum carbonated. Disappointed in this brew big time. CC has really been struggling of late,

A typical tripel. I was hoping for a little more tropics. I got a hint of coconut as the beer appraoched room temperature. Sweet and sticky with a bit of booze. I was hoping for more.

Bottle thanks to Taylor at MFF. Aroma is a smooth Belgian blond complete with bubble gum, banana, and slight coconut. Pours dirty blonde with very little film. Taste is nice bubbalicious pink bubble gum, pineapple core, and a light coconut finish. Neat idea but the whole thing ended up tasting like bazooka bubble gum. Not worth the price tag but not bad.

Bottle. Poured clear amber color with an average frothy white head that lasted with good excellent lacing. Complex sweet citrus, sweet fruit and yeast aroma. Medium body with a smooth texture and soft carbonation. Medium to heavy citrus balanced flavor with a medium to heavy sweet citrus finish of moderate to long duration with a small alcohol bite. This is a refreshing good beer.

750 ml cork and caged bottle shared by b3shine- thanks again, Beau! Pours a hazed orange-peach-gold color with a moderate cream colored head. Aroma of vanilla, oak, sweet malts, peach, coconut, melon, apricot, and only a little funk from the unique Brett strain. The flavor leans more toward fruit sweetness than the noseís malt sweetness; peach, coconut, apricot, melon, pineapple, candi sugar, minor funk, sweet malts. Medium-bodied, with moderate carbonation and a sweet, juicy mouthfeel. Not bad, but I didnít want a lot of it.
