Pours a very cloudy, copper-amber with a sizable, lasting off-white head. Aroma is a bit of sweet dried fruit and malt vinegar. Flavor follows, with moderate sweetness, cherries and other fruit, wood, and a pronounced but not bracing sourness. A melange of well-balanced, almost mild flavors, and quite mellow on the palate.

Draft. Aroma of cherry, vinegar. Deep red body with generous head. Flavor is cherry, barnhouse and a tartness that leads to vinegar finish.

Slightly hazy orange post. Big off white head. Lacing. Slight sour cherry and peach nose. Somewhat tart fruit in the mouth with a hint of acetic bite.

On tap at Novare Res in Portland, Me which is slightly ironic I guess u guize. Pours a nice ruby hued head, cream hued foam head. Lightly tart and acidic, nice pitted fruit sweetness underneath. I can’t believe I have to be at the airport at 5 am tomorrow gonna suck. Sourness lingers on the palate. Medium to light bodhi.

Pours a hazy golden-copper from a bottle. Aroma of lemon, green apple, like a french pastry. Flavor does add notes of apricot, apricot jam in particular, maybe some quince. A little barnyard funkiness and a hint of pine. Good sourness. Very good beer.

On tap at HotD. Dark golden with an off-white head. Aroma is peach, dried pear, rhubarb. Medium bodied, lightly sticky mouthfeel, lightly tart on the palate with fruity notes and a dry finish along with a subtle touch of bitterness. Taste is peach, dried pear, sour summer fruits.

Draft to taster at Cappy’s. Pours a slightly hazy golden color with a small off white head film. The aroma and flavor have tart fruit, apples, citrus, cherry, funky, caramel, mild lemon, some resiny character, mild spices, I don’t think it is overly sweet, interesting combination of flavors, I am a fan of the base Fred more but this is an interesting spin.

On tap @ The Yard. Pours slightly hazy golden amber with thin lacy off-white head. Aroma is clean oaky dank pale malt; crisp berry tartness comes in on the back. Taste is crisp clean light caramel malt up front, then big dry oaky notes right after, light red berry tart notes on the finish. Interesting blend, tons of flavor, clear that lots of work went into this.
