Hazy amber orange capped by silky white head. Nose and mouth full of funk and horse hairs. Alchohol kick adds to the fun.

(Backlog) Dark golen to orange in color with a nice light white head. Smell is fruity, sweet, light tartness, banana, and malts. Taste is fruits, lacks much sourness, and malts.

Bottle. Poured a clear golden color with a mostly lasting frothy white head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Moderate to heavy sour yeast and citrus aroma. Medium body with a smooth texture and lively carbonation. Medium to heavy sour & sweet flavor with a medium to heavy sweet & sour finish of moderate duration. This is a soft beer for style.

750ml bottle, shared by tmoney99. Totally hazy yellow orange color. Thin white head. Some ridges of lace. Bigger body. Lighter, kind of soft smooth carbonation. Lightly sticky finish. A lot of belgian candy sugar and caramel malt sweetness. Light spiciness, toffee, some burnt sugars. Light orange citrus, but the sugary malty sweetness overpowers that, this isnít what Iíd call a delicate, bright beer. Just not my style, I guess.

On tap @ Beachwood Brewing. Nice golden colored pour with a white head. The nose is somewhat phenolic and funky. Big pepper and spice notes. Leather, barnyard, and some fruit. Light lemon, strawberry, and citrus. Not bad. Some malt comes through as well. Flavor is slightly sweet, but also a bit dry on the finish and tart. Lemon, barnyard, leather, and pepper. Hints of strawberry, citrus zest, and bread.

750ml bottle: This one pours a fairly opaque amber color. There was about no head on mine, nor any lacing. Nice nose: bring on da funk! Nice whiff of sour fruits, along with some spices. Earthy notes too. The taste is quite good. Sour fruits dominate the flavor. Some bitterness trying to come up through. Hint of breadiness. A nice beer!

On tap. Clear golden color with white head. Peppery, light fruit, light funk aromas. medium body, soft carbonation. Dusty pale malt, light berry fruit flavors with some citrus, dry spices---tasty.

22 oz. bottle, sent from Glouglouburp (thanks Dany), pours a cloudy murky dark amber with almost no heasd. Aroma of worcestershire sauce, brett and very sour red fruits. Flavour is very smoky and sour, with smoky worcestershire sauce, a little brett, and nastily tart dark fruits. Something is dreadfully wrong with this bottlle, with nasty smoky sour notes. Undrinkable in every way. Gross.

750 ml bottle into tulip glass; best before 4/21/2012 date on the cork. No pop upon releasing the cork, flat beer. Pours a very hazy reddish orange color with no head. A minimal lace cap does eventually show up that lingers; with minimal glass lacing. Aromas of caramel, pear, apple, grape, wood, leather, clove, cardboard, toast, and yeast earthiness. Unimpressive aromas with decent balance and complexity; moderate oxidation makes this a bit unpleasant. Taste of caramel, pear, apple, grape, golden raisin, toast, brown sugar, leather, light wood, cardboard, and yeast earthiness. Lingering notes of caramel, light fruits, toast, leather, brown sugar, cardboard, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Decent flavor balance and complexity; with moderate oxidation flavors and minimal cloying flavors after the finish. Nearly zero carbonation and medium bodied; with a slick and creamy mouthfeel that is decent. Alcohol is very well hidden with only a small warming noticed after the finish. Overall this is a poor Belgian golden ale due to the oxidation and lack of carbonation. Decent complexity and balance of flavors; but the oxidation makes it unpleasant. I had to drain pour this one, not enjoyable.

The beer pours a hazy brown color with a few white bubbles. The aroma has a lot of brett and funk, with some orange and dark fruit (mainly plums and currants) thrown in. I also get some leather. The flavor is similar. The leathery notes really stand out, as does some dark fruit, light funk, toffee and caramel. Medium mouthfeel and low carbonation. While all of the above might some good, something about this beer just didnít do it for me. Overall, it just didnít taste too good. Maybe it is the age, as this beer was drank in August 2012.

Bottle. Very interesting and complex brew. Lots of Bret and wild funk. Yet they managed to balance it out.
