3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Appearance was cloudy brown with creamy off-white diminishing head, spotty lacing. Aromas are sweet toffee, sugars, spices, fruity yeasts, slight hops and dough, no alcohl present 8.5%. Taste where crazy spices, caramel, toffee malts with slight tartness and figs, dates, cherry from the bretts. Palate was slick texture with soft CO2. The meduim-full body with average length smooth spicy finish. If had more hoppyness...

4.1 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Pours honey amber in color with a bright white very nice, lacy head. The delicious juicy aroma brings tart and sweet notes shining through nicely from some time on the Brett. The flavor brings tart Brett that tastes nice, but has lost just a bit maybe with time. The flavors of some white wine with a bit of dryness even though the beer is a bit juicy overall come through in a nice way.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle; Pour is slightly murky golden with a frothy off white head in this glass. It retains fairly well, with some sticky lacing present. The nose is tropical fruits, lemon grass, with some caramel and biscuits present. This is a nice belgian strong here ; it is slightly boozy, with some american hop presence, I suppose. The Belgian side is a bit on the stronger side; There’s some more tropical fruit, candied sugars, caramel, bready malts, and some bitterness from the hop notes. Again ; a nice one.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
This beer appears a very hazy, light brown hue with a minimal head and just a touch of lacing. Aromas consist of Belgian yeast with perhaps a hint of citrus and hay. This collaboration tastes decent, but not great. For the price and availability, I would never choose this over Duvel or Delirium Tremens. However, I am always elated to taste a new beer, especially from two highly respectable breweries.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
I’m not the biggest fan of the lighter belgians so I’m sure that affected my rating... that being said, it has wonderful carbonation and a sweet bread character that makes it pretty drinkable. It was nice to have a little citrusy hop flavor in the undertones as well. I did not expect that from the style. Good beer but just not really my cup of tea

Bottle... Poured dark golden with a white-ish head. Bread-like character with loads of yeast spice, esters, and even a hint of tartness. Burnt, toasted caramel-like malts to balance the heavy dose of yeast.
