Bottle shared by robert at stateline. Cloudy orange in color, decent head. Good aroma of hops and bready/yeast. Taste has alot of citrus hops in it, but still has the belgian qualities. Light texture which made it very easy to drink. I really like these hybrid beers. They should have their own catagory. Belgian IPA’s. It reminded me of Stones 080808, but not as good. Only because it wasnt that fresh. But overall a really good beer, that I would suggest to anyone. Thanks Robert for sharing.

Pours a ruby color with a rocky white head, slightly hazy, excellent lacing... Aroma is a touch bretty, with sweet caramel malts in the background... Touch sweet with bretty notes above dark fruity notes... dry finish, medium bodied... Not as bretty, tart, funky as i expected, but quite good...

750 ml. bottle from Green’s on Buford Highway. I haven’t been to that Green’s in many months. They also have this at Tower Liquors in Fuckead. Sorry, I meant Buckhead. Anyways, nice frothy head at first that fades away somewhat slowly. Nice dark orange transparent body. Looks pretty damn good to me. Wow, a huge caramel malt sweet aroma with a nice brett backing. I can’t say that I really am enjoying the pungent malt aroma. There are a lot of citrus aromas coming from this i.e. grapefruit, orange, and maybe some tangerine as well. I wish the brett came out more, but it does provide a nice backing to the beer. To me, this is just too malty. Wow, ok, this one develops oddly. It starts out as this almost off-putting malt flavor, but then it develops rather nicely; I am getting a nice blend of citrus flavors with that malt flavor in the background, and then it develops into a nice citrus and brett flavor. To me this tastes like it’s messy at first and then cleans up and becomes slightly refined. Not extremely smooth, but decent enough. Overall, the malt kind of kills everything, and I wish the brett added a lot more. This is a decent brew, if you ask me.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20 Gregis (1256) - Shawnee, Kansas, USA - MAY 31, 2008
Bottle shared by theisti. Pours a cloudy orange-gold with a thin white cap and wispy lace. The nose is of Belgian yeast, light (Pils?) malt backed by a blend of sweet and lightly spicy hops that make it difficult for me to distinguish individual notes. Light-bodied and slick with a very dry finish. The flavor follows the nose with a dry and lightly spicy finish; a dry, bretty quality asserts itself after the swallow. This is a nice beer. Thanks again for sharing it with us, Tim.

750 ml bottle from the Port Brewing bottle shop Carlsbad: Hazy pale peach color with a medium white head. Aroma is flowery and fruity with a hint of pine and a wiff of alcohol. Flavor has layers of complexity with a touch of leather, citrus, honey, eucalyptus, pepper, grapefruit rind, spice and wood finishing with a dry, mild bitterness. Medium body is creamy smooth with moderate carbonation. Flavors really come out as this beer warms up.

Bottled. Beer is clear, light caramel. The head is large, white, frothy. Fuzzily diminishes, mostly and admirably lasts. Significant lacing on the glass.
Lean and fruity. Malty with light notes of cookie, toasted grain, trace of caramel; Hoppy with moderate/heavy notes of resinous pine, moderate herbal grapefruit oil, light lemon zest; Yeasty with a light note of band-aidy plastic, trace of basement and dish rag; Light pepper, faintest trace of lacquer.
The flavor is moderately sweet, lightly acidic, light/moderately bitter with a long, moderately bitter, trace acidic, lightly sweet finish.
Nice mouth feel. The body is full, the texture is velvety and the carbonation is lively.
