750ml thanks to cavie. Pours a hazy orangeamber body with no head. Smells of hard candy, orange zest and honeydew melon. Tastes of toffee, light bitterness, orange and candied rind fruits. Initially a fizzy/lively carbonation that gives way to a creamier, clean finish.

Corked and caged 750mL offering. A loose and easy cork extracts neatly and sprays my fingers in a fine mist. Pours a golden orange color with a fluffy white head. The glass is decorated with loose foamy bunting, and a milky swirl floats atop the liquid. Aromas lean towards the "west coast" avenue with raw green citusy hops. Lemony goodness and tall grasses dancing in the breeze caress the nares. A hint of Belgiany Brett funkiness is present, but it really takes a backseat to the citrusy hops. Flavors are juicy and woody all rolled into one. As Michael Jackson says, "a suspicion of sulphur and sweat." That nails it. Stinky, but insidiously so. Raw and green. Lasting bitterness in the end, and an aftertaste of mild barnyard-infused fruit juice. A Belgian brew that tries to incorporate American brash hoppiness, but it feels disjointed. A worthy effort, and a treat to imbibe; but it ain’t no DeRanke XX Bitter or even an Urthel Hop-It as far as hoppy Belgians go.

Bottle from Bottleworks shared by JoeTheYounger on the Seattle trip. Pours a cloudy orange with a large off white head that dissipates quickly. Aroma is spicy with some sweet fresh fruits and a touch of bubblegum. Flavor is hoppier than expected. Spice and citrus, a touch of funk, dry and somewhat medicinal. Medium bodied with generous carbonation.

Bottle courtesy of alexanderj, shared with kleyland and alexanderj at the GA-CA-VA-NY-MA pre-NYE Extravaganza Day 2. Pours a pure gold with a small, bubbly, white head. Aroma of clove and fresh cut grass. Flavor is really balanced between the bready malts and honey sweetness. Finish is dry and bitter with a bit of pepper.

A pleasant bready, belgian yeast, a little citrus, some hops, and sweetness from the malt. Mellow.

Murky, copper orange brew with a thin ring of pearly white lace.
Farmhouse twang is evident, but isn’t overly powerful. There’s also an interesting mix of bready yeast and that "corked" aroma for lack of a better term. The aroma is probably what I liked best about this Beer.
Decent carbonation, it starts with a bit of bicuity malt flavor and and finishes dry and somewhat acidic, making quite refreshing. There was just a tiny bit of booze that creeps up in the aftertaste, not a bad thing mind you.
I’m not the biggest fan of DeProef Beers, but this one was quite good.

Butters Big Blowout - Pours a cloudy orange/brown with off white head, some cake floating. Aroma of yeast, apple, hop and sweets. Similar taste with tartness, slight hop finish. Solid belgian ale.

Gold, small head. Malt, citrus and flower aroma. Rich amber malts, honey, apricot, lemon, pineapple, spice. Make sure to let this warm up a tad as the flavors are much more pronounced when not super cold. I’ve had this on tap and in bottles and it’s a winner!

Bottle into chalice. Pours a cloudy orange-brown with visible effervescence and a creamy beige head. Nose is spicy yeast and citrus, bit of candy sweetness in there also, and a slightly fruity funkiness as well. Taste starts off with a big yeasty component pairing with a subdued candy sweetness, with citrus emerging from the hops not long after, and a big, round barnyard funk making a statement on the yeasty finish. Notes of over-ripe apricots are noticeable as well. A light hop bitterness lingering on the palate is noticeable a bit into the glass. Mouthfeel is very lightly carbonated, with a moderate, slick feel. Quite interesting, a lot of stuff going on, but nothing that jumps out to overwhelm.
