750 mL bottle purchased at Liquor Max in Loveland, CO. Pours clear amber with a small, frothy, white head, lasting with spare lacing. Aroma is heavy malt (hay, straw), average hops (grass, citrus, lemon), heavy yeast (horse blanket, barnyard, earth) with notes of coriander and dust. Light bodied, gritty texture, lively carbonation, and an astringent finish. Average duration, moderate sweetness and bitterness, light acidity. Flavor of band aids and plastic mixed with lemons. I was disappointed in this, especially having Tomme Authur contribute.

Hopfiger, süß muffiger Beginn. Dann herber, modrig hefig, etwas langweilig. Süßlich, dann hefiger, leichte Kräuternoten. OK. 11/10/8/7/10/8

The aroma is spicy with fruit, honey, and yeast. The appearance is hazy gold/amber with a nice big head. The flavor is like the aroma and bitter in the finish. The palate is thin. Overall not to shabby.

Reviewed from notes. Poured into a tulip glass. The pour brings a light caramel-colored body with a short (for the style) white head that doesn’t have the best lacing. The nose is pretty plain, with some very mild esters and a bit of malt sweetness. The taste is a bit of a mess with too much malty sweetness and not enough yeast. In reality, not much of anything other than some sweetness. This carries over into the feel, which is almost cloying and isn’t dry like I’d expect. Drinkability is decent enough, but I expected a lot more out of this. Serving type: bottle Reviewed on: 11-09-2010

This corked and caged bottled brew from a bottle shop poured a large sized head of foamy finely sized off-white colored bubbles that were and left behind a transparent softly carbonated orange brown colored body. The aroma was floral and spicy. The semi-flat mouth feel was weakly tingly at the start mediumly tingly at the finish. The flavor contained notes of malt mild hops and spices. An OK brew just nothing special.

Bottle thanks to 17thfloor. Pours a clear orange with a beige creamy head. Yeasty creamy nose that’s soapy with orange citrus becoming ever more dirty. Dirty earthy herbal flavors. Oranges soapy and dirty. Um. .. wha happened? not good, gonna have to drain pour this one.
